I'd rather be forced to grow a mullett and wear a mesh football jersey (the cut off kind) and Bike coaching shorts every day for a year.

I'd rather be wrapping all my body hair in titleist grip tape and having a naked rosie o donnel tear it off than watch danny gans on cbs.

I actually like him. I think he great. I don't mind the some of the focus being on celebrities because it only happens twice a year at the Bob Hope and Pebble. JMO though.

I'll be so glad when the celebrity pro-ams are done.

Why in the he77 would I want to watch one of those clowns hack it around. Chris Berman from ESPN is brutal to watch.

First off, I'm so glad I'm not the only one who feels this way.....
I'd rather:
...eat bees
...stick an pencil in my eye
...have my chest waxed
...have Courtney Love's portait tattoed on my shoulder
...'make it' with Courtney Love
with that I'll stop...b/c it just doesn't get any worse.

Gans and Berman should never be invited back or at least never be shown on TV ever again. 2 of the most annoying people ever to be in this event. If my boy Phil weren't leading the pack I wouldn't watch a minute of it. By the way, Phil's swing looks grooved... a big change from the other 3 tournaments this year. Also, he has a smile on his face again. Hope this one breaks him out of whatever he was going through.

I don't who is worse Gans or Lopez. If I had to play golf with either of them I wouldn't make two holes before I punched them in the throat. Also what is up with celebs wearing berets? That has to be the worst look I have ever seen on the golf course. I would rather play with a guy wearing jeans and cowboy boots. The look like they should making pizzas.

you all better hope Tiger plays this one again, because he's the only one that can get the camera off Gans and the rest of them hollywood types.

I'd rather watch "The View" followed by a marathon of "The Rosie O'Donnel Show" and finish it up with a "Rosie Sex Tape" that must be in a vault somewhere. I believe GLAD is holding onto it because it would cripple their movement.

Thank you for making this thread, I actually turned the coverage off today because they kept showing that guy. I had never heard of him before, and wouldn't mind if he jumped off a high cliff. I like how he duck hooked a driver into a hazard, then the crowd just kept cheering. I wouldn't pee on him if his face was on fire.
well, that might be going too far...
I can't really say I'd rather see George Lopez, Romano, the fat guy from King of Queens, or any of them for that matter, just the good golf please.

there are 48 events on the 2007 PGA Tour schedule over a 10 month period......only 2 are celebrity events. get a grip folks
from what was posted in another thread, apparently this bit of information is of no regard for the PERSON HE IS rather than strictly forming an opinion based upon his golf game or impersonations. call him what you want but what are you doing???
"Gans is an integral part of the Las Vegas community, too. He recently hosted the 4th Annual Danny Gans Invitational Golf Tournament. More than $75,000 was raised for Boys Town of Nevada and the Southern Nevada Junior Golf Association, and plans for the 5th annual, star-studded event are underway. He also funds the Danny Gans Golf Academy which allows children to learn how to play golf for free. In addition, he is involved with the Lili Claire Foundation performing annually to raise research money for William's Syndrome.
Gans also finished recording his first album, on Sony’s Epic label. Award-winning producer, Michael O’Martian produced Gans’ inaugural album which climbed to #19 on the Christian pop charts.
Completing the picture of success, Gans just celebrated six years of sold-out shows in his 1,250-seat theater at the Mirage, and was again named "Las Vegas Entertainer of the Year" for the 9th time."

Well, maybe I got caught up in the heat of the moment, pitch fork might be over the line. But I'm really a Danny Gans hater now, and I don't know anything about him other than seeing his name in vegas

People actually pay $100 to see him in Vegas. I would pay $100 if he would let me clean his ears out with an oyster knife.

Is it me or does this guy's impressions not suck? I mean, this is his profession, and I thought his impression of Rodney Dangerfield was horrific. I thought it was some CEO just joking around, but then the announcer said "Danny Gans, the man of a 1000 voices".
