So I'm sitting here watching the replay of the At&t coverage and they show George Lopez shank a shot. As soon as he hits it he goes, "shank!". Faldo says, something like "oh no" and then quite distinctly "oh sh**". I think he meant to say "shank" but I rewound it several times on my DVR and he distinctly said quite another "sh" word.

It was pretty funny. Did anyone else notice that?

Luckily for them amidst the lack of Tour player coverage and the over the top celebirty golf coverage, that word fit right in.

im pretty sure lopez said oh s***, and faldo just repeated him, but yes he did curse...lol. Funniest thing ive seen george lopez do...his intentional comedy is quite unamusing...i wanna when they show lopez

I heard it to. Sounded like George said "oh shank", then Faldo thought he said "oh sxxt". So then Faldo says, "ohhh sxxt shank, we heard you, but I dont have to say it".

I heard the same thing. It was like he said sh*t, because lopez used the dreaded s word. On a side note I can't stand lopez either, these pro-ams are becoming the lopez tour.

Yes, I heard it on tgc's REPLAY this evening. I figured they would've censored it the 2nd time around, which is why I wasn't sure what he said at first. But this thread confirms it!!! Haha, Faldo is hilarious...

You gotta love sport for these kind of slip ups... Andy Roddick dropped a couple of F words against Federer pre-9pm over here recently... the commentator said "I'm sure we all understand Roddick's frustration" !!!

Fine question! I think most people think those on TV don't curse, scratch, spit, or defecate.

the best "ON AIR GOLF CURSE" was at last years Zurich classic when (Lanny Wadkins?) just screamed "OH S**T" when couch chipped in on the last. i was in shock!

no the best one i seen /heard was freddy couples maybe in the early nineties......he hit out of a bunker in a playoff and clearly screamed" jesus f'n christ"!!! there was silence for like 12 seconds and the announcers just said something like" freddy is very annoyed on that shot"hahahah. yea i heard faldo say that today and thought i heard wrong but now i know......

Lopez is not even closed to being funny... he is soooooo annoying it is scary.

He can't say that because it can cost CBS maybe a million dollars if someone calls him on it. Once a station (TV or radio) is called on it, the FCC monitors that station to see if they do it again. If the FCC hears it again, it costs a lot of money. If costs a little radio station like the one I work at thousands of dollars, imagine what it is for CBS
