I live in Columbia. Great time of year to come down btw. Stay clear of anything West of COlumbia towards Augusta, they stick it to the tourist. Northeast Columbia where I live has some nice tracks. Use this link, probably will help you out.

I say try Indian River & Crickentree. Northwoods is a Dye course here that gets tons of play, i personally don't care for it much, they ram the course with people, 5 hour rounds and such. Linrick and Charwood get lots of play as well. Good luck.

there is a couple great tracks in Greenwood SC, kinda out of the way but everything around here is packed thattime of year. Check out The Patriot. If you have access to a golf professional get him to call to make you a time. Your best bet that time of year is to work connections and get on a private club. Another great track, maybe one of best in SC, is Musgrove Mill Golf Club. It's private but if you get your pro to call I bet they'll take care of you.

Good Luck
