I have gamed a TM Monza Corza AGSI that is faced balanced. This putter put a really nice roll on the ball. I never even noticed any ball skid. TM has a newer version of this putter with a different insert. It may be worth demoing if your looking for a face balanced putter.

My favorite of late has been the Ping G2i Anser C. Second on the list would have to be the Phantom Mallet Center shaft.

I'd go along with the Nike T130 or the Ping Craz-E. Both mighty fine putters.

I have a Hoganardi BHB-3 C which is a fantastic stick. Can be had for not much $ these days and is a worthy rival to my Mills CS.

Byron makes a face-balanced Mid Broom center-shafted (375g head) that is fantastic if you like a heavier weighted putter.
And there happens to be one in the BST - (shameless plug).

Guerin Rife 2 bar. Adjustable weight, adjustable lie angle, awesome roll and feel. Face balanced. Best IMHO.

Ping G5i Craz-e is great for a SBST stroke. I'm moving to an inside-square inside stroke so there isn't much of a need for me to use a face balance putter anymore. Probably should have figured that out before I bought the Ping. Also, you should check out a center shaft Tradition by TP Mills. It's a great putter, and Jay has an oil can one on ebay.
I've got one that I'm about to sell that I've used for only two rounds. Let me know if you're interested. (excuse another shameless plug)

Since I really love the feeling of my TM Rossa Daytona 1 CGB, I will probably do the same thing with my G5i
But not right now and probably on EBay. It's not a plug; I'm not ready yet to let it go

I use a byron 365x and scotty del mar 3, If those aren't face balanced than IMH its the yes tracy II, I shelved it but its an amazing putter and has a 350gram head so you can cut it to any length. the Tracy II might be the best deal in town. great stick

Best face balanced putter I've been using lately....not the prettiest but it's the Nike Unitized Techno. I tried it out about five times spending ridiculous time in the golf shop putting around with it. I love the two white alignment lines in a "T" that remind me of my Del Mar. The head weight is very good. The balance on the putter truly gives the feeling that the through stroke is an effortless movement caused as a reaction from the backstroke. It feels almost automatic which I why I finally broke down and bought it.
Techno is a good choice. I'll also throw in the White Hot 2-Ball.

While the Ping Craz-e is getting a lot of love the Ping Ug-Le is a better choice. The weight in the back half of the putter is not in the center like most, rather it is out on the "corners". From pure design and face balance point of view, this is a much better use of weight for controlling the balance within the head.

I thought Bettinardi BHB3-C and BHB8-C are not face balanced? BHB8-C is center shafted but someone said it was a bit toe flow.

all I play are face balanced putters with my SBST putting style, and I've tried a bunch of others: Guerin Rife's 2 bar, the Nike OZ, the TM Monza Corsa, Ping's CrazeZ and Ugle, and the best one that I keep going back to time and time again is the the "ol' standard": my Odyssey 2-ball White Hot putter. Trust me I've tried to replace the ol' thing, but it gives me the best overall results...can't dispute good results.
Good luck trying to find that magic wand.

Can anyone explain me what physics lies behind face-balanced being better for SBST putting stroke?

The toe won't open the club up after you bring the putter back and then forward as is the case when using a putter with toe hang.

I have a Yes! Tiffany which is essentially a blade with a really awesome alignment aid hanging of the back - looks weird in pictures but makes a TON of sense when you look down at it as you line up a putt - it's like dead simple to line up. I think it is a great putter and would recommend checking out any of the YES! line of face balanced putters. My stroke has become much less SBST and I am putting lights out with a 4:30 toe hang putter right now.

I love my Rife Barbados.
Used it for 16 rounds this year out of 52. With the Barbados, I am 4.9 strokes better and 0.23 putts per hole better. 18 holes X 0.23 = 4.14 strokes of a 4.9 stroke improvement in my last 16 rounds.
The more I play with it, the better my distance control becomes.

I second the Rife Barbados. I've had it for about a year and love it. Plus I can go regular grip or cross handed, which I'm apt to do on faster greens. Both ways it feels smooth and solid.

I added 10 grams to my Scotty Cameron Red X5... At 35" and 340 grams, this is the most balanced and easy to line up putter I have ever used...Beautiful feel off the face too.
