I was just looking for some opinions on where a good spot to take a golf trip would be. We are planning on going in the last week of February. If anyone could give me some direction as to where to go (somewhere warm) and cost of stay, rounds etc. that would be great. Thanks for the help.

Southern Fla is probably the only place you can gurantee good warm weather in Feb.
I'd recommend Ft. Myers-Naples or West Palm Beach.
Prices for golf can range anywhere from 40 bucks to 200 that time of year , depending where you play.

I've posted this before so I apologize if anyone thinks I work for the 'bama tourism department.
I get to take several golf trips a year and enjoy each for its specific amenities -- be it really good courses, other amenities for spouses, reputation of the resort or value.
For the past ten years, a group of guys from my club go to the Trent Jones Trail for a week. We play either 27 or 36 holes each day and try to hit three sites.
February weather in Alabama may be an issue but the combination of course challenges, price, comfort, niceness of the people at each site cannot be beat. Alabama was the first to try this concept and hit a home run. Go to their website.
If you're interested in other possibilites, Kiawah offers my favorite course. Williamsburg in VA is a pretty neat palce for golf and spouses. Bay Hill will be nice in February and they've just redone the lodge (you might even see Mr Palmer at breakfast). San Diego and the Torrey Pines area is good almost any time of the year. Bandon and Monterey will be too iffy in February.
Cabo is good although pricey.

Highly recommend the California Central Coast... Lots of excellent courses, very uncrowded, and affordable prices. Check out
www.golfslo.com.
Best picks: Monarch Dunes, Cypress Ridge, Hunter Ranch, La Purisima

We (8 guys) are heading to Arizona on Feb. 15.... I don't know which courses we'll be playing, but there are so many of them around Phoenix/Scottsdale, I don't think we'll have any problem.
