Hi all,

After looking at all these pics of the tour pros bags and clubs, I noticed that when the wedges are in the tour pros bags the heads dont come near the top of the bag, however if you put a wedge in the bags you can buy in the shops, the bags seem all that much more taller? Is this true or is it just my imagination.

I was thinking the same thing when I was walking through golfsmith the other day. They just don't seem the same size.

There was an epsidoe on The Golf Channel with Adam Barr where he talked about the differences between our staff bags and the Tour staff bags. They do look the same in many cases, but are usually built a little different for the guys with their names on them. More heavy duty, more room, etc. I can't recall all the specifics, but I do remember that there was a difference.

Maybe those guys have longer shafts in their wedges...

Cart and staff bags in general have gotten shorter and I don't know why. I've noticed it with staff bags and I bought a Ping Retro cart bag earlier in the year that was almost a good inch shorter than my Nike carry bag. With my irons being +1/2", it made the bag look like it was made for a kid or to carry ladies clubs. I had to dump it on ebay before it ever made it out of the garage. I don't know if it's the whole unisex thing or not but there must be a reason in there somewhere.

I just went and and sized my bag (PING Fitment Staff bag) 35" tall, it is also 12" across though so bigger than most Staff bags.
