My wife and I are going on a cruise and one of the stops is Cabo. What recommendations does anyone have for the best moderately priced course that will rent clubs?

I always appreciate all of the input.

The courses are all expensive.

My favorite was Cabo Real, the Robert Trent Jones track. it is a great course. if you play after 2, it is less than $150.

I also played at Cabo Del Sol, the Weiskopf track. it was more expensive than Cabo Real and nowhere near as fun.

Have a great time

cabo del sol was great! how could you not have fun there? when i went only the desert course was open, so we played it twice! the ocean course is supposedly better so i would give that a try as well

Cabo Del Sol Ocean course is one of the best courses I have ever played. It is expensive, but worth every penny of it. The course is challenging, beautiful, and in perfect condition. The finishing 4 holes are spectacular. Holes 15 (par 4) and 16 (par 5) are down hill holes with the ocean in the background, 17 is a par three over the ocean, and 18 plays along side the ocean. Each hole is more unbelievable then the next. On the card the golds play 6800 and the blacks 7200, but it plays much longer then those numbers.

If you are in Cabo you NEED to play this course.

p.s. The rest of the course is awesome.

Glad to hear the Ocean Course is worth it. The wife and I are going to San Jose Del Cabo in March and I'm planning on playing the Ocean but it definitely is steep.

On a similar note, did all of you bring your own sticks down to Cabo or did any of you rent? I'm probably only going to play one (maybe two) rounds down there so I was considering renting but I'm a little bit hesitant because it would be a waste to play such an expensive (and great) course with sub-par sticks.

Any thoughts?
