I thought this was a very interesting ranking.

1. LUCAS GLOVER (27): Unbelievable talent. Of all the guys in this group, he has the potential to really become a bona fide star on the PGA Tour. I would not be surprised at all if he wins a lot of tournaments and plays on the Ryder Cup. • World ranking: 43.

2. SEAN O'HAIR (24): Has the potential to be one of those guys who can play consistently well for a long period. Looking at stats, he did not putt the ball very well last year. You're not going to get but so far with putting stats like that. • World ranking: 74.

3. BILL HAAS (24): Unlimited talent and another long hitter. He had a real learning experience last year. He played a lot of golf, and you have to get used to that. • World ranking: 244.

4. MICHAEL PUTNAM (23): Watched him in the Walker Cup matches. He has all the skills and is very strong. It will be interesting to watch this first year on the PGA Tour. • World ranking: 226.

5. NICK WATNEY (25): Needs to get in position to win to get that nervous, sick feeling in his stomach -- then accepting it and working through it. • World ranking: 175.

6. TROY MATTESON (27): The finish he had last season certainly proved he's capable. The guy knows how to win. But again, looking at the stats, he has putting problems. • World ranking: 79.

7. RYAN MOORE (24): Great competitor but has an unusual swing that is still a question mark as to whether he will be able to play as consistently as everyone hopes he can. • World ranking: 80.

8. J.B. HOLMES (22): I've known him for a long while. A great kid. Consistency is going to be a huge issue. He won early last year, then basically disappeared. Will that improve? • World ranking: 70.

9. BUBBA WATSON (28): A free spirit. Not afraid to hit a driver when a lot of other guys wouldn't. Creative how he plays the game. • World ranking: 162.

10. D.J. TRAHAN (26): Another guy with a questionable swing. His father is a pro and his only teacher. When it's on, his swing seems to work very well, but he made only 13 cuts in 33 tournaments. • World ranking: 193.

can't see Europe getting worried about these boys teeing it up in the Ryder cup......................
liongolf_ike
wow are you kidding? these guys are a solid crew. Europe better be getting ready for these guys, and some more. Hello Anthony Kim, Steven Marino, Philip Francis, etc. i mean come on.

Right now I don't think any of these guys are ready to go up against Sergio Garcia, Paul Casey, or any of the under 30 europeans, south africans or australiens. They just haven't won enough.
