i bought a q-link around christmas, because after the meltdowns i had, i was willing to try anything. i was wondering if anyone else wears a q-link and if yall that do feel less stressed and think it helps you when you are on the course, or in competition. thanks, conorgolf

I think you will find the majority of the users on this forum are wearing a Trion Z braclet, substancially cheaper, and supposedly hold more ionic charge, I wore a Q-link for a week but just couldn't get around the cheap feeling rope style chain, so I took it back for refund.

I wear a Quantum Chip. There is an actual physical reaction when you put it on... so I assume it does all the other stuff it claims. If there is any interest I will proceed with more info. Until then I am going to save my carpal tunnel for later.

haha, i dont know if thats sarcasam or not but he described it similar to this guy.
Personally i would buy the Trion Z before the Q link just because it looks better, its cheaper, and has more ions? I dont know much about the effects it has but if it makes you think your better and you play better, why not...aka placebo effect

yea no kidding. 100-200$ isnt worth it IMO. Trion-Z is cheap and with more ions and just post a picture and get one free in the Trion_Z contest.

I have been holding off on posting about my Q-link.
Then yesterday I went and played the monday skins game. Played OK first couple of holes, then Phill Mick'd it all the way in. Birdie, double, par, double, double shot 85. I felt jumpy all day, even the guys i always play with noticed.
Got home, found my q-link sitting on the bathroom counter.
I DID NOT KNOW IT WAS OFF until after the round. Coincidence?
I have only shot above 80 1 time since i started wearing it 4 months ago.
Coincidence/Placebo effect? i'll let you be the judge, but for me it's staying on.

I'm not an esotheric guy, nor do i believe in stuff like that easily. But what i believe in are my heroes. The ones that i watch compete against each other on TCG every week. With such a large number of them wearing it (and not getting money for it) there must be something to it.

Got a trion z necklace a few weeks back and have not felt much difference, I don't know wether it has anything to do with it but when I shuffle my feet on the carpet real good I can give what seems to be a supercharged jolt, more so than I've noticed in the past, the wife had just come back from the gym last night and was bent over in the panty when I zapped her on the a$$, Boy did she come unglued

I'm sorry boys but these are snake oil. There's no evidence for this sort of thing having any effect on the performance of the human body. If they work for you then my all means keep wearing them but don't imagine that they have any more effect on your performance than your lucky boxer shorts.
If someone could point me to some genuine research on these products then I'll be happy to change my mind but until then I'll stick to the lucky underpants.
For what it's worth, I'm in the final stages of my PhD in Neurophysiology and my skepticism probably stems from the number of "out there" products that guarantee to improve your well-being by spouting buzz words while having a noticeable lack of hard data to support their claims.

I HAVE WORN A Q-LINK FOR ABOUT THREE YEARS NOW AND I LOVE IT. YOU HAVE TO GIVE IT A WHILE TO KICK IN AND WHEN IT DOES YOU WILL KNOW IT. THE BIGGEST THING THAT I HAVE FOUND IS THAT IT HELPS ME SLEEP BETTER! WHENEVER I WANT TO GO TO SLEEP I CAN AND I STAY ASLEEP ALL NIGHT. IT ALSO HELPS A LOT WITH JET LAG, I WENT TO HAWAII AND ADJUSTED JUST FINE THERE AND BACK. I ALSO WEAR SOME OF THE OTHER THINGS LIKE THE TRION:Z AND TITAN BRACELETS AND THEY ARE GOOD TOO IF YOU DON'T WANT TO SPEND AS MUCH MONEY... BUT THE Q-LINK IS WORTH EVERY PENNY!

The human mind is a funny thing. If you believe that it will work, it probably will.

I agree with bloodredsun. It's psychological voodoo, and probably works like a placebo....if you believe it, for the most part, you can do it. I guess whatever works, works.

Tiger apparently has some of the other PGA Players so pshched, they will resort to anything that potentially "could" help, even when its just "snake oil" hype like the Q-link.
IMO, building a dependence on something outside yourself actually creates a disadvantage because it convinces you that you need some sort of "crutch" to be successful.
Tiger on the other hand, chose to develop his inner strength along with his physical strength so that he doesn't need to rely on any such ridulous voodoo nonsense. Clearly his competitors would be better served building their inner strength through counseling than buying useless trinkets like Q-link.
Charles Howell III has actually been wearing one of these silly things longer than any other Player, and he seems to have only gotten worse since he put it on. When he first came out, (sans Q-link), there were very high expectations for him.

I haven't tried the Q-Link yet, but I do wear a Trion:z necklace and bracelet when I play and I can tell that I am much more calm when I play and I am wearing my Trion:z as compared to when I forget to put them on.
Placebo effect or not I wear my Trion:z no matter what.
