I am a Ping fanatic but can't get myself to like this bag. The compartments and bag itself is great, but I don't like the strap system. It is more difficult than my Titleist to use.
Get more opinions however. People on this site love this bag. I just can't pull the trigger

I also have been looking at this bag and the Mizuno Twister. I initially like the Ping but I'm leaning to the Twister. What I liked about each is they can convert to a single strap for cart use. The Mizuno comes with a seperate single strap. I think the material around the club deviders on the Vantage will wearout faster. Its different than last years Extreme model.

I used to caddie, to me the best carry bag was the Mizuno. With that said I have a Hoofer....it was free!!!!

I got it and it's the first stand bag i am really in love with... It does awesome double duty between cart and cary and I think this strap system is awesome!

I absolutely love this bag. I use a speed cart once in a while in the heat of summer and the retractable primary strap with the removable secondary is awesome. When carrying the strap system fits perfectly. I wouldn't trade this bag for any other.

I am up to 4 stand bags right now and i like the Ping Vantage the least. In fact, if I could do it over I wouldn't buy it at all. I initially liked the looks of the bag, I like the strap system and it has plenty of pockets. i don't like the club divider. Clubs are impossible to get in and out of the bag while walking and not much easier once you sit it down. The club protection around the top is pretty cheap also. I have a brand new shaft in my G5 and it already has some scratching on it from rubbing the club divider/protector. Like others have said check out the Mizuno's they are top quality. Even though the bag itself is heavier, the weight distribution of the straps is so good that it feels lighter than my Ping.

Just got a Hoofer Vantage and love it compared to the Extreme. Much better quality, zippers, more pockets, everything. My only complaint is the stupid towel clip. Can any of you guys pull a larger towel thru this clip? It sucks. Why didn't they keep the larger towel ring like on the Extreme. I hate using small towels. Any suggestions on how you get a bigger towel to go thru this thing?

I never use the towel ring, I just lay it between my woods and irons so it looks like a U

I think that my Pine Hoofer Vantage works just fine, pretty happy with it.

I love my hoofer, very comfortable to carry.
One minor gripe is that the legs don't completely retract when it's carried. The water bottle pocket could be bigger as well. Some bottles don't fit in there. That said, it's awesome to have a water bottle pocket.
