Hey, for christmas I was thinking about getting a net and matt to hit some balls in the back yard on. For those of you that have these are there any you recomend? Any good websites that have a net and matt? The cheaper the better, but if balls are going to go thru the netting then the extra money will be spent for higher quality. I have looked around ebay a little, but it seems like all the nets have to be staked to the ground, and thats not really something I want. Any help?

Fiberbuilt mats are the best I have seen, by far. http://www.fiberbuilt.com/golf/index.htm

www.dwqailgolf.com has a really good net for around $110, called the "Pro Cage". They have other good choices too, as well as mats. I use it for indoor instruction, and it's great. Very sturdy. Pretty much any net you get is going to need to be staked into the ground.

What is a good one for indoors, for in the garage?

Id like a net similar to the one on the golf channel, were they break down the pros swings and hit a few shots. Dont really like the show too much so I forget the name. I do remeber its free standing tho, and it doesnt look like it would be too expensive. Also how thick do you recomend the mat be for concrete. Ive found some what seem to be good ones but there only 3/4" thick so i dunno if thats thick enough?
