Not much of a surprise there. And holy sh!t that is a lot of money 40 million for his 1st contract then 100 million for his second renewal. Thats more money then I could probably make in 3 life times.

Just imagine what this renewal is going to cost Nike as you know he wont be taking a pay cut.

But Nike will lose more if Tiger goes to another company, like TaylorMade or Cally.

Do you think they'd fork over the money for him? I would imagine it would be close to $150 million, plus good luck getting him to play their clubs in the next year. When I think Tiger I think Nike anyway, so it's a great fit!

I think tiger is beyond callaway or taylormade. think about it, tiger is nike golf. i think he got a jordan contract where nike just said here is a piece of the company. when he signed his first contract they sold golf shirts. 10 years later look at nike golf now. how much of that success is due to tiger's success?

did anybody watch casey bierer's little schpiel on the sprint post game. maybe im the only one here nerdy enough to watcht the golf channel al the time. tiger has his own building with memorabilia and everything you could imagine about tiger. it was incredible.

Any company would pay anything to have Tiger. Tiger=Sales. When the SQ cam out, and everyone was skeptical,it became the #1 selling driver in 2006 because TW has it in his bag. He's the reason Nike make golf clubs
