I did a search under sporting goods today searching for tour issue ect....

I gotta say that I was surprised to see so many people auctioning and selling their stuff as tour issue. In fact it made me laugh.
Do you think they have a better chance of selling their stuff by labeling it tour issue? I just hope a majority of bidders know what they are bidding for.
It's killing me when all this OTR stuff are not tour issue.
What I'm trying to say is, when i do a search on ebay, i want me results listed as genuine so that i don't waste my time looking into something that is blatantly not TOUR ISSUE!!!

(I wonder how many times I can write "tour issue" in one post. I think I'll just call it T.I. from now on)

i think it has to make it sell for more, because a lot of people do it. There was a putter that was brought up on golfwrx awhile back that was said to be Tiger Woods' tour putter, but all the guys here could see it was someone who had bought the stamps and stamped tigers name on it. He got a bunch of flack, and added at the bottom of the auction page that there was no telling if this putter really was tour or tiger woods'. haha, people can be so naive, and it still went for over 1000 i think.

I think in the 3 years I have been on ebay, I have maybe seen 3 or 4 itmes out of the thousands I have looked at that were legit. And the Nike Proto Cavaties on there now count as one of those 4. A lot of that crap comes from former retail reps and just plain idiots who maybe don't realize that is FRAUD. I have called a few of them on it that were selling Nike items I knew where not as advertised. Usually gets yanked pretty fast when you ask too many questions. All I can say is be carefull because most it was probable bought at Dick's, not from the Tour Van. The best was a guy selling Rory Sabatinni's back up irons. Too bad they weren't from the right OEM!!!!!!!!

A lot of idiots seem to think if you add tour issue to any auction title it will sell for more money and unfortunatly some people pay it.
