So I absolutely love my Ping Hoofer Vantage bag EXCEPT the damn stand legs. They droop when I'm carrying the bag on my shoulders. Like a solid 8-12 inches when on my shoulders. Does anyone else have this problem?

Call Ping - I remember this problem on some of their other bags. They usually have a spring or a tighter spring that may be replaced on the bag. Maybe yours is not working properly.

But give their CS a call.

2 things resolved the same problem with my droopy legs:

Assuming that when the bag is empty-empty and vertical, the legs retract nicely...

> with bag vertical, all club shafts must be in their place, and vertical. when shouldered for carry: the stand legs will retract flush to the bag (or nearly, but certainly do not bump you at all.)

> if this does not work: your bag can be adjusted by Ping CS, as said. you pay to ship there, they pay to ship back, you have it back in < 2 weeks, for sure. if you press your concern, nicely, the modification that they make is to simply: remove the legs from the bag, crop off 1/4"-1/2" from the TOP of the leg, redrill the rivet hole, reattach: works great.

lastly, over time, the bag will flex with use, so I asked them to favor "flush leg retraction when the bag is fully-loaded with 14 clubs, 6 balls, a 32oz. water bottle + shwag & in the carrying position" vs. "stability when stood up on the tee box."

yes, I expect great responses when I make clear and concise requests. are they fulfilled? sometimes.

hope this helps.

whoa sprayer. the whole "flush leg retraction when the bag is fully loaded" sounds perfect. have you had this done to ur bag? i called up ping yesterday before i posted this actually and they sent out the fedex man to pick up my bag today. i'll make sure to let them know monday morning to make this adjustment.
