I did a good job at stocking up on nice pants to keep you cool during the warmer months and now that its getting colder, the wind is just going through my pants and I'm looking for nice pants to wear that will also keep me warm.

Dick's has great lined flannel pants that wear great for golf. Excellent prices- approx $30-35, and warm. My compadres are always jealous.

Buy a pair of Under Armour Cold Gear leggings and you won't have to EVER worry about cold again, then you can wear your regular summer pants over them with no problem. They are unbelievably nice.

Another option is L.L. Bean has flannel lined chino's that are really warm. They are lined from waist to cuff, very comfortable, not bulky.

I go with the Courderoys(sp?).

A simple pair of thermals and the pants to my rainsuit keep me nice and toasty in the winter. The sealed seams on the rain pants help keep the wind out and the warmth in.

Ditto. I bought a pair of Nike Storm-Fit rain-pants when I first moved to Oregon, and I can wear just my boxers under those things in winter, and be as snug as a bug in a rug.....provided I put a pair of calf-length socks on too! After almost 9 years use, they're getting frayed at the bottom cuffs and well worn in a few other places too. I don't know what I'm going to replace them with though, as everything primo that I've seen to date is like half the weight/thickness.

Open question: "Do the current Nike/Footjoy/etc. rainpants keep the elements out to your satisfaction?"

I used to know this girl, she wore hot pants, and she always seemed to be quite warm. drinks.gif

Mac, let's try and keep things current here......that was 40 years ago tease.gif cheesy.gif

On a serious note, Thermals and rain pants are very warm. If it's REALLY COLD, thermals, regular pants and rain pants over them biggrin.gif

You know Andy, every time I go up town there is this old lady, she doesn't have any teeth left...BUT!!.... she's always smiling at me....Could that be her wearing those knee high white boots and varicose veined ladened skinny old legs?? tongue.gif

p.s. thermal under, wind pants over works for me. smile.gif I normally use fleece under and wind pants over, I like the bulky feeling on my legs.

Go out and buy everything that Zero Restriction makes. The windstopper line is unreal. Very manageable on the golf course and very warm.

Ditto. Thermal pants and shirt and I can handle any weather.

another vote for under armour cold gear keeps you warm and no need to have an extra set of pants for winter.. off topic but in the heat by an underarmour heat gear t shirt for under your golf shirt... works great for me
