I guess for me it would be at my in-laws, they have a private 9 hole course that gets virtually no play in Indianapolis. Last winter I went and shoveled 8 inches of snow off of one of the greens and shoveled snow out of a bunker and from various distances out to 150 yards. Me and my black lab were down there all day the next day just hitting wedges and working on putting. Maggie, the lab, will return my golf shots to my feet all day long. Maybe this sounds cheesy, but it was definately the best time I had on a golf course....my in-laws just kind of shake their heads in wonder at me.

Used to work at a course. We were getting rid of the golf carts when we were about to get new ones so we went into the parking lot with a couple after the course was closed for the day and played bumper carts. LOL

Just got back from a golf tourney with a dozen crazy Danes in Girona, Spain. The second day we played PGA Catalunya, and I was paired with 2 of the best players in the Tourney (along with my wife). I played well enough to get third on the day, complete with 2 hole-outs from the fringe for par. Great course, great company, great time!

I also always have a great time with my father-in-law back in Ohio. Played 36 holes one day with him, my wife, and his best buddy. Good times!!

I went night golfing last summer a couple times, was pretty fun.

How exactly does night golfing work. Did you use one of those balls thatthe little lightstick slides into the middle of?

Yupp, the track we did it at actually has night golf tournaments like once a year. It wasnt really "legal" but, hey you only live once.

the best time i had was playing jynx golf with my friends. anything goes as long as you dont touch them!! it hilarious to see what people do when you yell out "wait wait wait" in their down swing!!! damn what a blast, dosent look too good on the scores though.

Now that does sound like a good time....I'd like to get in on a round of that. I'd just hope to break 100!

I think it's a blast everytime we have our weekly friday golf outing. Our foursome usually consists of pitbull808, 808golfer, loprohitta66 or Bryan (co-worker) and myself.

Well, most of the group has known & worked with each other for at least 15 years with the exception of loprohitta66 (2 year newbie). We're always making jokes, playing pranks, farting, burping, teasing each other or doing something stupid to make each other laugh. Sometimes we're laughing so much that we have a hard time playing golf.

One of the crazier things that I've done was "moon" each of them at different tee boxes and walk with my azz exposed throughout some holes. It's amazing that we haven't gotten kicked off a course with all the stuff we do.

Why do we have so much fun? Basically, it's because we're amongst great friends "trying" to play the game of golf which can be downright frustrating at times and we do things to keep our "spirits" up

The funniest times I had on the course were i hate to say at someone's expense. I took a client to my home course and he got stone drunk. He fell out of the cart twice. The second time he fell out, he slid down a hill and got a really bad grass burn on the right side of his face. He is a decent golfer and he whiffed two shots. Man did he get loaded.

Shooting 65......that was a fun day.....

The most memorable times I've had are in scrambles with buddies. I was in two groups this year that we won, and in both of them it was with a couple of hackers that play twice a year (in fundraising scrambles for their kids), which is a blast. We just constantly rip on each other, tell each other we all suck, and laugh it up. Then we make birdies.



Probably the best this year was in a scramble with my buddy Brian, his father-in-law and brother-in-law. We came in 2nd, but we're on a par 5 after hitting a great drive, decent 2nd shot, about 40 yards out. We all hit a crappy chip and the closest was about 35 feet away. We get on the green and a woman is there taking pictures. The first 3 guys miss, and I tell her to get the camera ready so she can take my picture after I make this putt.... I drain the damn thing. It was ridiculous.
