Im looking for some good under-wear. The typical long johns are not very comfy. What are you guys wearing to stay warm?

i don't have any special underwear, but i did order a few of those Mizuno Breath mock long sleeve shirts, and the Windlite mock sweaters...
hoping they will be able to take some of the bite out of the air... it's already getting pretty brutal here in PA...

Yes most deffinalty UnderArmor. Maybe a nice windbreaker would be good
I have a Cobra Fleece Cap that i loooove to wear
winter gloves is alright....but if your riding in a cart when you play, it may not matter. but i ussaly go no gloves.
I guess it depends where you live. i live in michigan where one minute it could be 50 and sunny, the next its 30 and snow. (trust me, it HAS happend!!!!) Just always be prepaired.
Keep em straight!!

UnderArmor Cold gear for me.
I second the comment about the UnderArmour Cold gear, great shirt, very warm. But man getting a larger size. I bougt a medium which is my normal size. I looked like the Michelin Tire guy when I put it on. I had to have my kids help me get it off...

I have to agree and go with Under Armour Cold Gear. I know Under Armour can be pricey, but it works. I use it for golf and during fall softball or anytime I am going to be out in the deep cold.

In my experience, Patagonia makes high-quality products. I really like Patagonia Capilene Baselayers. They make several different weights for different climates. Level 2 is really lightweight but takes the chill away nicely.

Compression shirts in general do a good job of keeping me warm, but nothing beats UnderArmour cold gear. Wear that underneath a sweater or especially a Nike therma fit fleece and you stay pretty toasty. Then again, if it's below 40, I stay inside anyway.

Hunters have access to the warmest cold weather gear available. Why pay for a "brand" name like Underarmour. Check out Cabelas online, your local REI or hunting outfitter, they will have options.
Personally, I find Underarmour gives me a rash. Cotton thermals do the trick for me.

When it is cold I wear a antigua short sleeve mock during the round, and before, and while I am not swinging I wear a insulated wind breaker. When really cold, I wear a green bay packers sweatshirt. and a Welch Redi-Mix beanie(my dad is a cement mason and he knows alot of the cement truck drivers so he gets free hats and stuff)

My cart cover and heater. Finally sprang for it this year when a yearly outing I play in October always seems to have horrible weather. This year it was about 40 degrees and windy, and I stayed toasty warm in the cart.
The main advantage of this is that you don't need to layer up so much, keeping your swing much more free. I only wore an undershirt, golf shirt, and a short sleeve wind jacket.

+1 for that. I use the same combo, it's awesome. Just do go one size bigger then normal on the under armour cold compression stuff...

Another vote for the Under Armor Cold gear. I usually go with that, a mock neck, and a bobby jones pullover (i get good deals on them at work

).
And don't forget, get a winter hat, you'd be surprised how much that helps.
