Here's what the White/Black Hoofer Vantage looks like. It is NOT my Vantage although I have a White w/Navy Piping and Red Stitching Vantage coming in on Thursday that I will take pictures of to show you...

BTW: Y'all slept on this one...

A little 3M ScotchGard coating and you'll be fine...

That looks really nice. Is thatthe one you were taking orders for earlier?

Yes and no. That was what I was taking orders but failed miserably on. So I was able to get in on trotgolfer's white vantage. Here's what it looks like (he's selling the extra one apparently) http://cgi.ebay.com/New-Custom-Ping-Vantag...1QQcmdZViewItem

Damn...I knew I should have gotten in on that. LOL

To be honest the Scotch guard dosent do anything...
Here is a picture of my bag. I scotch guarded it with three coats and it got dirty as heck.
I suggest not buying an all white bag because they look bad after a week.
choeppner
Thanks for the heads up. I have to figure out what to do for a next bag. LOL I know it'll be a ping, just not sure on the color yet. LOL Just getting tired of my 10.5 Staff bag.

hahaha yeah. i debated heavily on this on top of the h.e. and the nike bag. we'll see if you're really right. i seriously prefer having a putter well especially since i can't really afford to replace a tp7 but this bag was too much to pass up on.

I was actually told to get the Automotive Fabric Protector (don't know if you just used the regular one) since the automotive one is designed for high traffic areas (shoes & dirt on mats) and it would protect well as I've seen by some other people's bags. Also heard about some 303 fabric protector but have no idea what that is.

too bag they made it heavier... pretty much the reason i got the new H.E. and no the vantage... over 2 lbs diff.

They don't get dirty after a week. I got mine in early August and it still looks preety good. Played in the rain with it as well.

Yeah nothing is easy about filling your bath tub with oxy clean & scrubing away for an hour. I have a white hoofer extreme & I do know.

I was a little worried about the weight but there no diffrence at all in weight. It feels the same and it has much better pockets than the extreme. Great bag IMOP.

I want one... just not in white black or orange suits me...

This looks like a darker orand, and not quite the pilon orange that I have seen some of the hoofer extermes. Does anybody know if you can get the vantage in a dark orange colour like this one, or is it just a poor photo?

Hah! I'm in college myself. Don't let that statement fool you.

So what is the consensus on the new vantage?

Love the all white...almost pulled the trigger on the final one. I've had a hoofer 3 which i liked but moved on from and a nike air golf bag (pre-extreme series with flex base) which i liked except the pockets didn't have enough 'give'. I moved to the ping mit-e-lite which i love for the weight...but i need more room with the purchase of a laser range finder and my layers of clothing. Almost perfect and great for the summer when i don't need to carry extra clothes.

I can't stand the beaver-tail or ogio stand system, got to have a single base like either ping or nike.

My biggest concern about the vantage is the weight, moving from such a light bag. I'm only 25 so i suppose i can deal with that if the benefits are strong enough. I didn't like the material of the hoofer extreme - same as the mit-e-lite - and am glad they went back to the hoofer 3 material even if it was heavier. I guess weight/construction is the battle all the manufacturers are debating.

After the long rant, i guess my fundamental question is Are the benefits worth it? I'm picky but i guess that's why i keep on buying and trying stuff. Why can't anyone make the bag perfect for ME???

Looks fantastic now, but after its been well used for a season might start looking a different shade of white.
