Hey here is a part of my golf autograph collection. All of the balls are were actually used by the players, same for the hat. Post some of your collections if you can, I would love to see some.

Tom Byrum?

He's a heck of a guy. I used tow ork with his swing coach, and I played a practice round with them both, one of the nicest guys I've EVER played with.

Nice to see Sugar Land represented! biggrin.gif

Yea he is a great guy. Spent some time with him at the Western open. My cousin is best friends with the owners son, so he got me tickets and I got to me Tom.

Here's a majority of my collection. I also have pics of ben Curtis with the Claret Jug and Hal Sutton with the Ryder Cup signed and framed. Too bad Hal couldn't have actually won that cup.

Great thread sac,

Wow, there are some great collections.

I'm at school, so I can't post pictures of my autograph book, so a description will have to do. My Grandfather (who is now in his mid-70s) started this autograph book when he was a boy, passed it onto his son, who passed it onto me while I was in high school. In the 50 - 60 years it has been around, it has been signed by a number of great players including:

Ben Hogan
Jack Nicklaus
Gary Player
Arnold Palmer
Sam Snead
Lee Trevino
And many, many others

I'll try to get some pictures in the next few days.

I can't my sisters digital camera to work but I have autographs from the 2003, 2004 and 2006 Canadian Open consisting of:

An autograph flag from this years Canadian Open, I only missed Vijay i think. My favourite autographs on the flag are the winner Jim Furyk, and his caddie Fluff. Oh ya, and Jesper's. It took me three years to get him and I finally did.

Golf Balls signed by: Ian Leggat, Shane Bertsch, Peter Lonard, Some random pro, Jeff Sluman, Aaron Baddely, Steven Ames (and his caddie gave me his headcover from his 3 wood or 5 wood), Greg Owen, and my favourite one Camilo Villegas.

I also have three prototype Callaway balls which eventually become the Hx Tour about 5 months after the 2003 Canadian Open. These were from Fred Funk, Robert Damron (?), and some other guy.

The only two autographs I want now are Woods and Vijay's.

Off topic here I have a signed picture of Kurt Cobain.

I've got a decent collection of autographs in general, but have a few golf signatures of interest.

Of particular interest is a April 5, 1999 edition of The August Chronicle (the local paper there), which was their annual Masters edition. It's signed on the front page by a number of players, including Jim Furyk, Ken Venturi, and Mark O'Meara, and Tiger.

I've also got a Titleist signed by Tiger in 1998.

Just thought the newspaper might be of interest...pics show plastic that it's been wrapped in since it was given to me.

Recently acquired a collection of golf books from one of my students. Hundreds of books, all first edition and prior to 1955. She said that they were her Fathers. In the first box I have already found a personalized copy of The Walter Hagen Story, signed by the man himself. In addition there was a copy of The Boys Life Of Bobby Jones, signed and personalized by Mr. Jones, O.B. Keeler, William Campbell, Ed Dudley, and Betty Jean Rucker. It was presented to Johnny Howell in the mid thirties... I have them at the Bank securely put away, but will shoot some pictures and post before long..

I have Davis Love III glove, Peter Jacobsons, Mark McNulty and Mark Brooks. I have a hat when I was little with a lot of signatures on them also.

I got Nick Price's ball when his caddy came off the green at TPC sawgrass on Sunday when he had just won. Its hard to get Nick Faldos golf balls. I was just lucky with Tiger at his first US AM win.

I'll keep collecting golf balls when ever I get the chance. I have learned how to get them in an easy way.

Enjoy

I was able to get Phil and Vijay to put an autograph on my business cards and DiMarco to sign my Cheesecake Factory menu last summer during the Booz Allen Classic. I was traveling for work and they were staying at the Ritz Carlton at the same time that I was. Being a huge golf nut one would have thought that I could have deduced that they may be staying there since the hotel is 10 minutes from the course, but I was Captain Moron and did not bring anything golf related with me. russian_roulette.gif

Have all of two golfers autographs. I have Sign Boy's autograph somewhere, but couldn't locate it for pictures.
wholeinwon
Not all Golf Related...but still cool in my opinion...the one baseball is Jimmy Key from the World Series, its a ball my dad caught for me at the World Series in 1992. Jimmy Key is my favourite pitcher of all time lol so it was pretty cool to get. The other baseball is Fergie Jenkins. The goalie stick is Dom Hasek and the players stick is a game used Ziggy Palffy stick he gave to me after a game in Buffalo when he was with NYI. The rest are self explanatory.
