Great product.
Simple to use. The best thing I've found is it is great for attacking pins. You csn easily see what the carry must be to get at certain pins.

I just brought a SG4 and love it. Easy to use and right on the money.

I received the SG4 for xmas and absolutley love it! Takes all of the guessing and looking for yardage markers out of the equation. Highly recommend.

I bought an SG2 back in December 2006 as a Xmas gift to myself. I've used the unit 6-7 times with moderate success. Recently, I've been getting bogus yardages on a few holes. Turns out my 4-month old battery refuses to charge up more than 25% of capacity. Now I'm being told I have to buy a replacement battery for $49.95 after spending $300 for the unit and another $30 for annual membership. WTF? Maybe that's why Skygolf newer units have double AA batteries. I should have got the Bushnell Rangefinder!!

I have the first model (sg1) and i really like it. When I forget it at home I feel lost without it on the course.

right on da golf guy.. I'm getting a few bogus numbers as well.. sometimes out at least 10 metres or so at times.. I feel that I have to re measure the greens at my local quite often..I'm disappointed in mine to say the least..Now I'm findng the battery is not up to 18 holes.. its a sealed unit so OUch!!!

Have used my SG3 for three months now and absolutely love it. One of my regular playing partners has a Bushnell, and the only time we use is when we have a long wait on a tee box and start taking bets on how far it is to a certain tree, landmark, Cart Girl, etc... All of the courses I play are professionally mapped and have been spot on. The feature that I have been most impressed with is the ability to mark a spot (i.e where you tee off) and then see how far your shot actually traveled. This has been a tremendous help to my game, as I now know exactly how far I hit each club (although is a bit sobering when you think you got into a drive for 300 and find out it is only 285).

I have the SG3 and LOVE IT!! It really helps your game. If you can hit your yardages consistently then it will help you alot.

I have a SG 3 and i love it ......it's a big difference finding true yardages on courses i cant use it on .. Im sorry i waited so long to purchase one

I hate the sg2, bogus yardage, weak signal, and now the battery crapped out on me... I hate rechargeable batteries.. I wish it came with replaceable AA batteries. Skygolf wants 50 bucks for a new battery.

get the bushnell or the skycaddie without the rechargeable.

Got the SG3 and love the device. It has been money well spent.

I bought a SG2 used of Golf wrx and find it gives the same yardages as my brothers SG4 +/- 2 yards. It has been fantastic and I have just got a new SG5 as a gift. Going to sell the SG2 once I try the SG5 and see it is much better. The only draw back with any of the sky caddie products is that you have to pay a yearly membership fee. That sucks in my opinion. The Igolf although not as good does not have this extra annual fee.

I agree that paying sucks but I have to pay each year at my course for a new membership so whats the diff? I have had two SG2's and never had to replace a battery, now have the SG5 and love it too! I mean FREE is me but there are some things in life we have to pay for and unless you quit using it or they have a one time price we are stuck with sub. I guess we could back up and walk off all the distances?! NO WAY! most people take too long to play the way it is, I think the SC speeds up play especailly if you are playing a course for the first time. not trying to PO anyone but if you don't like paying the sub fee don't buy it......We will pay $200 for a new putter but qripe about $30 for a yearly sub fee. Am I way off base here?
