I am considering getting a push cart as by back has begun to get some sore spots after carrying a bag all day. Consensus seems to be for the V1 Speed Cart, but I wondered if anyone here had used the V2 and if worthwhile improvements were made over the V1. Also considering the C550 Bagboy as its very compact. Anyone used the new V2?

I have the V2 and love it. Before I got it, I used to make fun of a friend who used the V1 - but after I got it, I no longer want to carry my bag anymore. It saves my back and energy for better performance throughout the round.

Only differences between the v2 and v1 are: different straps (bungy vs. velcro), more color options and the new built-in/screw-in umbrella holder on the v2. Nothing else of any significance.

Get one, you won't regret it.

Thanks for the reply. I looked at a V1 yesterday and I believe it had the brass screw in umbrella holder on the handle. I just wonder if the V2 is worth the extra $70 or so.

I have the V1 and it is plenty good. Best money I ever spent.

If you can get the V1 for $70 less than the V2, by all means get the V1 . . . the new straps aren't worth $70!!!

I found the bungy much better than the velcro, I too enjoyed the more colour options I almost dislike the built-in/screw-in umbrella holder on the v2. since I don't like to play in the rain the holder can be uncomfortable with hand position on the handle. I chose the orange colour, I also find it heavy to put in / take out of the trunk and ackward to carry when folded up.

Which one has Velcro and which one has Bungy??

I asked the same questions about a speed cart a long while age. Almost every person came back with glowing praise. So I got one and I can say I love it. I have not carried my bag since. It definitely makes you fresher for the last couple holes. On my course they are 2 difficult par 4's and I guarantee it has helped my score coming home. I have the v2 but do not hesitate going for either one.
