Found this on cnnsi.com. Anyone know anything else about this guy?
Gerry Watson is a 27-year-old rookie. The world's 150th-ranked golfer has never won on the Nationwide Tour, let alone the PGA Tour. But mention his name and watch his peers tremble. "Honestly, in all seriousness," said Tiger Woods, "that is the future of the game of golf." Woods came to this conclusion last fall at a tournament in Japan. Playing in the group directly behind Watson's, Woods watched Watson pull a hybrid, the equivalent of a 1-iron, from his bag and drive a 323-yard dogleg par-4 with the club. The ball came to rest 25 feet from the hole.

Perhaps the long drive champs have something worry about, but obviously the long ball doesn't equate to necessarily a "great" golfer.

I think it is great that a 27 year old can be considered the
future of golf.

Edit: Okay, it appears Tiger Woods was referring to the style, not the player.

You forgot the word "senior" between "of" and "golf"
