Hey everyone! Sorry for the lack of posts this week but it’s been a busy time around here. Tonight SirPutts and I are very excited to announce a new feature on the site. We’ve met lots of interesting people during our time in the golf business and many of them have gone on to do some pretty cool things.

We’re pleased to announce that we’re bringing a new person on board to share his thoughts and experiences. We’re starting a new category called “Inside The Ropes”… we’ll follow an up and coming Golf Professional as he makes his way through the mini tours and other local events. He’ll be submitting diary entries (probably 3-4 a month) from the road as he chases his dream of playing on the PGA Tour. Hello everyone, my name is Gary Bos. I am a member of the Canadian Professional Golfers' Association (CPGA) and aspiring to become this country's top touring golf professional. Born in Montreal, I now make my home in St. Catharines, Ontario. For the past 15 years, I have been playing competitive golf across Canada and in the United States at local, regional, and national levels. As a junior and an amateur, I competed and qualified for 7 consecutive Quebec provincial amateur championships. Professionally, I have spent the last 4 years in the Greater Toronto area competing on the Great Lakes Tour, Ontario PGA and Quebec PGA Tours, where I have recorded numerous Top-10 finishes, not to mention a few close calls to the winner's circle. Having begun my career as a club professional, my playing time over the years was divided by both teaching and pro shop commitments. As my ultimate goal will always be to play on the PGA Tour, I decided now was the time to start making it happen. I spent this past season strictly teaching and focusing more on my game and evaluating what I need to do to get to the next level. Knowing exactly what it takes, I am now ready to focus solely on chasing my dream and making it happen in 2007 and beyond!
