When it is raining hard and it is time to play wet, what is the best glove you can play?

My experience is the 2 handed glove that is thin works the best, I have tryed a few and it seems to be a toss up between the cotton zero restriction and the Footjoy. I havent used the latest Zero "rain leather" gloves. Anyone have an opinion?

I use the same ones. Like you said it's a toss up. The "rain leather" grips are much thicker and I didn't like them bad.gif

If the FJ rain gloves worked as well when they were dry I'd use them then too. A friend of mine is into shooting (guns, only person I know who does this) and he uses them as do most of the people at his club for that purpose, the feel is great. He's just as dangerous with a golf club though...FORE!!!

Didn't Tommy 2 Gloves use these in the Big Break?

i just use the cheap Plus1 rain gloves and they work just as well as the expensive FJ ones, and i'm form the pacific nw, so we get a fair share of rain.

FJ is fantastic.....playing in the NW in the winter, these may be the most important thing in my bag. Haven't tried any of the others so can't speak to them.

The Footjoys are excellent, and look great also.

Has anyone tried the Nike rain gloves...and how do they compare to FJ?

Footjoy makes the best rain glove.

Has anyone tried the Etonic Rain Gloves that the either Golf Digest or Golf mag rated so highly or the Nike rain gloves?

i've never used rain gloves before (just lots o' towels in the bag) but picked up a pair of these for those wet days this season...hoping the "moisture activated grip" actually works:

Interesting. I haven't seen those around. Are they sold one in pack? Or two?
drpino
just one so I bought one for each hand...but i bought them on clearance and it turned out to be the same price as comparable gloves that come in pairs.

i have both the nikes and the footjoys and i like em both but i prefer the nikes, but i could happily play with either. The nikes are a little bit thicker and seem a little bit warmer but thats just my opinion i think they're all probably good.

I have always used the FJ's , but would really like something different. I honestly have never been very impressed with them. I think they are great when it isn't raining, but never really see an improvement when wet from any other glove.

Ok guys don't laugh, but a pair of 100% cotton gymn socks work fine--I prefer the high tops!

Maybe I'm not getting your humor or you are serious. Not sure why that would work in a steady rain. I just went to one of the local proshops that used to have a great selection. All they really had was the FJ's, but they did have some Callaway rain gloves that I had never seen. Fit well and looked pretty simialar in tech to the FJ's. Anyone tried these or the Etonics? More love for the Nike's?

Foot Joy Rain gloves are great for rain or humid conditions.

I use Wetgrip rain gloves. They're a white cotton glove and they stick like glue when they get wet.
