What is a good stand bag that is also good to use as a cart bag? My last stand bags were fine if I was carrying it and playing but on the weekends when I play with my dad and ride in the cart my bags would take a good beating and also my clubs would get all tangled and messed up because the bag is verticle and not leaning. So I want to get a new bag that will be pretty lite because I walk the course a lot and will be good to use on the cart organization wise and not get beat up either.

thanks,
steve

I have yet to find or see a stand bag that acted as a perfect cart bag and wasn't succeptible to sliding around and club tangling.

A friend has an Ogio with a "Torque strap," but from what I've seen that doesn't work at all.

This isn't what you want to hear, but it's much better to invest in a true cart bag, or be prepared to deal with the minor hassles of doubling a stand bag as a cart bag.

I have the Ogio Grom bag with the TORQ strap and it works well.....

You still have to make sure the cart strap is tight on the bag as well.

Thanks,

DATREK Vibe! A little heavy for some but I have no problem walking 18 at age 46! Best bag I've owned and can be had for cheap on eBay.

I have an Ogio Edge and it has a torq strap and it works great. It keeps the bag from sliding around as long as you make the strap tight.

The Edge would be a good choice, but the only thing is you want a lighter bag and the Edge is slightly heavier than the norm.
