I was reading this months Golf Magazine, they were profiling their "Top 100 You Can Play", i counted 13 that i have played and was wondering how many have you played? There are so many great courses on the list.

Here is my 13: Whistling Straits, Sawgrass, Black Wolf Run ( both courses), Troon North Monument, Coghill #4, Caledonia, Arcadia Bluffs, Bay Harbor, We-Ko-Pa, Torrey Pines, Grayhawk ( both courses), Boulders, Lakewood Shores.

only 1, but it was the #3 course. i guess i've got some work today.

Eleven for me.

Kapalua, Cog Hill, Paa-Ko Ridge, Challenge at Manele, Pumpkin Ridge, Torrey Pines, Spanish Bay, Barton Creek Foothills and Canyon, Broadmoor, and Doral.

A lot more on that list I hope to get to some day!

On Golf Magazine list only one: #30 Paa-Ko Ridge

I also just played last Friday at Oak Tree Golf Club in Edmond OK (2006 Senior PGA Championship). It is ranked 94 on one of the top 100 lists for 2006. Paa-Ko Ridge is #37 on that list.

belong to pine hill, solid great course, but I don't know where they come up with these rankings, would never never never put it in the top 100 you can play, I think they just pick alot of fazio courses out of reverance to the modern master.

I have played Bandon and Pacific dunes. Kapalua Plantation. Arcadia bluffs. I have also played Medinah no 3. but i guess thats not on the list because its not public. my uncle belongs there. im only 15 so i have many years ahead of me.

The top 10 courses are all well deserved. My favorite has to be Shadow Creek followed by the 3 courses at Bandon Dunes. Shadow Creek is just a fun ride starting with the limo ride to the course and then playing 18 holes on one of the best manicured courses around.

I have played about 8 and lacota canyon is amazing and not very expensive I denfinitely reccomend

I just played Lakota a few days ago and I enjoyed it as much as Castle Pines.

I was supposed to play #30 Paa-Ko Ridge this summer, but it fell through, I'm sure I will play it next year. I SHOULD have played all the ones in Michigan since I lived there so long. I just never got around to it.....

One and a half (played the Valley course at TPC Sawgrass, not the Stadium course which I'm sure they mean).

It is amazing the difference between the Golf Digest Top 100 list and the GOLF magazine list. Of course, rating golf courses is extremely SUBJECTIVE and as we all know, beauty is in the eye of the beholder!
