Hi to all Kiwis on Golfwrx.

I'm planning to got to New Zealand in October. It will be my first trip to the other end of the world and I was wondering if anybody of you out there can help me out with any kind of recommendation. Must sees, golf of course, things to be aware of etc. I will stay 4 weeks.

Also, any travellers guides guys been to NZ can recommend?

Thanks in advance,
TS

You've got to get to Cape Kidnappers. Course designed by Tom Doak and opened a couple of year back. Spectacular location.

You've got to play Cape Kidnappers, I'm playing there in December and can't wait. It's rated in the top 30 in the world. Also, Kauri Cliffs up North is great. It is very similar to CK. Paraparaumu Beach, Clearwater and Wairakei International are all good tracks. The best way to get cheaper green fees is if you know someone wha lives in NZ as they get discounted rates from what international visitors. I hope some of this is helpful.
You should also go bungy jumping as NZ is the home of the bungy.
