Just looking for some feedback on the Adidas a3 3 stripe shoe. I know the Tour 360 is very popular, but I was interested to see how the a3 3 stripe compares, particularly when it comes to cushioning ?

I have a pair of both and have found the 360's to be the more comfortable of the two. The a3 are a great shoe though, a little different than the 360's. a3 are very stable in the heel area. I really don't know how to explain it, but the heel on the a3 is a little wider and provides a little more support. Both shoes do a good job with mid foot support. The a3 are a lot less rigid in the forefoot area...I love both of them, but have had a little bit of heel compression on the 360's...I am a pretty big guy (6'8" 330lbs) so that might have something to do with it...but for the money the a3 is a great shoe. Walk alot in them and have never had any pains or complaints about them...but that being said...the 360's are so comfortable. Just my 2 cents.

I have both the a3 and the 360s as well and have found the a3 to be a bit more "cushiony" though the back of the shoe comes up higher on my ankles and causes me to get blisters. I have fixed this problem with socks that come up higher on the ankles. All in all, for less than half the price, the a3 are a much better deal and still a great, comfortable shoe.

IMO the A3 is more comfortable than the 360. The 360's flex wierd in the fore foot area, dig in to my feet & this is painfull. The A3 is like a pair of running shoes & by far are the best shoes for walking a course I have ever owned. Plus they are a bit cheaper.
