Sounds interesting. I've heard of the loacation in Alexandria, VA but haven't had the opportunity to go to it yet.

would be nice to try. I still would prefer a regular range where you dont have to pay for the special point system...
VegasGolfer
Expensive but looks like a cool idea..
Does anyone actually think this will catch on?
Rabidpenguin45
I dont know if the idea will catch on, only thing is that it wont factor in spin. It is really fly a ball to a hole, if you run it up or bring them back, you will score lower.
binneguru
i'd go there. All the ranges here are garbage.
Rabidpenguin45
If they used premium balls i'd go there.

The TopGolf near me does use premium balls, it's been a while but I remember the first visit was Maxfli, they had changed last time but I really can't remember what to!

I've been a few times. It's an interesting concept to say the least. The bays are heated so that's cool. Skipping balls across the carpet is interesting and if it's got enough juice you can get some decent points out of it. You can have food brought up to your bay, which is nice and they've got a nice pro shop. It's a great alternative when it's cold, which is a realy plus when you just have to hit some balls!

Dallas in 2k7 eh..I'll have to go check that out. After practicing at a really nice facility here in fort worth, I couldn't imagine ever hitting off of mats again.

I read abut that in Driving range Magazine or somehting like that. i tried to convince my boss to get that but he laughed at me!

That's all well and good when you live in an area where you can play year round, but when you live someplace with some nasty weather sitting under a heated bay with your buddies where you can run inside to warm up and spend less than 4 hours it's not a bad option...

The Alexandria VA range is great! It's sooo much more fun than my local beaten up range. It's great to go with a bunch of friends. I'd LOVE to have one nearby.
