Just about any course at Treetops in Gaylord Michigan will rank way up there.

But i think my favorite is Wild Bluff in Brimley Michigan where they play the Canadian Open. Michele Wie has played that tournament

I should be adding more courses to my list soon, after my summer golf next year. There are a lot of course that I love to play but really aren't rated very highly.
Sam-Tee-Time
the most "exotic" course I've played was Quinta da Marinha in Estoril (outside Lisbon) Portugal. Otherwise - I have not played too many exotic courses, but I really enjoy the "Tribute" here in the Dallas area, which has replicas from holes of famous English and Scottish courses.

My fav has to be Pebble Beach, it was an awesome place to play and stay. everything was beyond first class all the way. I was on my honeymoon and every place we went the staff seemed to know that we were the honeymoon couple. we played on a day that was sunny, plenty of blue skies and no wind ( which is unusual) . was a great experience and the view were unbelievable , my avatar is me on the 7th green yahoo.gif we also played Links at Spanish Bay and it was a fabulous course as well. my wife has been asking me if we are going back and I tell her whenever we can find the time and get some money saved we are there ! have to admit the whole Monterey area is a great place.... so many sights and wildlife to see, would love to move to the area some day.
mizuno

Hi all. My first post here. Hope its the first of many. The nicest courses I have played are:
Orange County National Crooked Cat
World Woods Pine Barrons
Bandon Dunes
Pacific Dunes

Bandon and Pacific Dunes are my favorites. Everything about that facility is fantastic.
mjtoal
Royal Co. Down, N. Ireland. A big hairy man-sized golf course, especially on a windy day. You can find gorse bushes as tall as your garage, and caddies have been lost in them.

OK, so posting that picture didn't work. Check the website.

Wow, y'all have played some top-shelf courses! My favorite, so far, was outside Atlanta, Cherokee Run. They carved a course out of something like 10% of the acreage that was set aside for the equestrian events in the Summer Olympics. Good track, and no houses. More deer than people on the day we played.

Best I've played:

Hawk's Ridge - Ball Ground, GA
Bulle Rock - Havre de Grace, MD
World Woods - Pine Barrens and Rolling Oaks

Playing after the Tour Championship:

I also really liked Stewart Creek, near Canmore in Alberta, Canada.
