When you watch the PGA Tour, during commercials and such they have their little logo and they show the guy swing, then it says "these guys are good..." - my question is who is the actual guy swinging in the logo (pic below) I heard he was pretty old but he has such good tempo and such a good swing I would like to find out who he is, or even where I can watch the swing over and over again.

Thanks

There was actually a little side-report during either a recent tournament or a Golf Channel program where this was discussed. If I remember correctly, this image isn't based on one single person, but several.

They did mention Gieberger during this report, but I can't remember exactly what was said. It was pretty recent that I saw this, so maybe someone else has a better memory than me.

I thought it was Jerry West. OOOPs, wrong sport.

Johnny Miller around the time when he shot 63 at Oakmont in the US Open, or so I heard somewhere...

I believe that it is suposed to be a rendition of Ben Hogan when he won his Open at Merion CC.

It isn't anyone. Miller, Geiberger, and others have all claimed to be the model, but its just a generic logo. The Champions Tour logo actually is someone, Jim Ferree...who was picked solely for the fact that he wears knickers. They had him do a pose similar to the regular logo because it was so popular.
