Just played with a member yesterday in Cleveland...will be in NY next month maybe we can catch a round then. Sure wish I could make it this time though!

I played the Black the other day. They are dialing in the rough for the NY State Open. The stuff is really, really thick thanks to all the rains we have had recently. The grass is healthy to say the least.

Try and keep everything in the fairway if you can. Four feet off either way and you will need some help finding your ball. Even with that....awesome course to play and just enjoy yourselves. Try and get there early for a pre-9am tee time to beat most of the heat of the day, and check out the nice selection of 2009 US Open gear in the pro shop.

What a blast. Unfortunetly I left my camera in Andy's car so I won't be able to do pics until I get back to Florida next Monday probably. I'll give a further review when I get all the pics together. Incredible facility though.

What's the deal with tee times there now? I assume you still need an NY liscense for a 4some?

I live in MA, but spend half my summer in CT and have wanted to drive down, even if I had to jump in with 3 others. What do I need to do to get on, still camp out in the parking lot?

Or, if anyone wants/can make a tee time for a weekday, I'd be more then happy to drive down and play with some fellow WRXs.
