What golf ball give aways would do it for you? Titliest used to do a Divot repair tool, Srixon does T-Shirts/Towels...
What would def get you to buy a dozen balls?

Hmmmmmm....... a extra sleeve of balls has worked on me before. Free is free and I'm not to choosy when it comes to freebies.

I thought the towel was a great give away by Srixon. I wish I would have got one; instead, I got the t-shirt which is ok but the towel would have been much more useful.

I hope I'm not being a snob but I've always stayed clear from any balls that have a "free" gift with them. I've always associated those as cheaper versions of a manufacturer's line of balls.
That being said, I would probably be most interested in a glove. Seems like I'm always buying balls and gloves at the same time.
That's my $.02.

The way the ball is marketed has more appeal to me than 99% of the "free" items companies have to offer. The way Callaway is advertising the HX ball and the box alone for the TM balls is worth a second look in itself.

I definately jumped on the free golf digest when I bought new spikes... didn't need them, but you know how that goes. So I get new spikes and a 1 year subscription to GD!

If they did that with golf balls, I'd probably do that too (assuming that it's either B330's or ProV's

)

Non-golf, not sure. Let me think about that one....iTunes gift card would be cool.
Golf related, an extra sleeve making a dozen 15 balls. Hats, towels, divot tools....
If Srixon wanted to get into memoribilia, then maybe an autographed ball by one of their sponsored players would be cool. I'd love to have Furyk's autograph. Maybe mix the sponsored players in and have the headliners on the staff a lesser chance of pulling out one of their balls than the lesser known staffers.

iTunes is a great idea but speaking from experience, Apple is VERY difficult to deal with regarding iTunes. They are NOT good partners, because iTunes is so popular, frankly, they've got you by the balls.
iTunes isn't very cost effective for marketing either. For example, Continental Airlines gives away 5 downloads with the purchase of a $300 flight, b/c they're paying almost full price per tune. How many could a ball manufacturer afford to give away w/a $30 box of balls?

I think something useful like a towel or a divot repair tool would be great. I think I will jump on the Srixon offer as I like the UR-X.

The way 460cc drivers go through tees, I would probably go with a bag of long tees. My srixon t shirt was also nice.

The most successful of the giveaways we had at the store I work at was with Srixon. The free towels made, and kept, Srixon as our number 1 selling ball in the store.
XM and Precept was a huge bust. With the success of the Bridgestone B330 and e lines, noone buys precept anymore. The hats are doing much better.
Getting together with Apple and iTunes is perfect. Much like Pepsi has done the last couple of years, have a code in the box that is good for 5 or 10 free songs.
Hit em long, straigh, and not too many...

When Srixon did the free PGA Tour event book, that was cool.
Otherwise, about the only thing that would make me look twice at a different golf ball than my preferred brand is price.
Giveaway more golfballs. Buy 2 dozen, get a 3rd free.

I got 2 towels last year, and unfortunately they are falling apart. I wouldn't mind free music downloads or free monogramming. I see that the towels are thicker this year, so hopefully that makes a difference!
Still love the Z-URS though.
God Bless
