Which story do you think will be the biggest at this years US Open.
1) Tiger playing for his dad (sunday of tourny is fathers day)
2) Mickelson going for the grand slam
3) Michelle Wie (will be talked about if she does or doesn't qualify)
thought this would stir some interesting comments.

I believe the biggest story will be if michelle makes the Us Open. Tiger playing for his dad is a big story considering he hasnt played competitive golf since the masters. Phil still needs a british open. I believe thats harder for him to win. If he wins the british and us open then we'll talk grand slam, until then, lets hold off.

Phil has zero chance of winning a slam (especially the British), so we can forget about that one.
Tiger and Michelle will be equally big stories.

I have to lean more towards the Tiger story. While Michelle Wie will be interesting news for golfers, Tiger's comeback, especially falling on Father's day, will capture the nation's attention.

It'll be Wie, but only if she makes it in. They MIGHT mention something about it Thursday, but otherwise I don't see it happening. Tiger will be the next biggest story and the biggest if Wie isn't in the tourney.

-wie will be mentioned on thursday, and probably friday when the cut line is clear, and they say how she may have been able to do it.
-come saturday late in the coverage, if phil is in the mix, the grand slam will definatly start to be talked about, and obviously on sunday as well.
-tiger will be a big story as he usually is, because hes tiger. The playing for dad thing on sunday will definatly get plenty of attention
those are my predictions

Phil is half way to the "Tiger Slam" already, and he has to be the favorite next week given Tiger's circumstances.
I think Phil is the story. The Tiger story will gain intrigue if he's in the mix on sunday, but Phil's won back to back Majors and that makes for rare discussions.

I think one of the biggest stories will be Tadd Fujikawa from Hawaii, the 4'11", 110 pound 15 year old who's playing the US Open via qualifying. Other than that, if Tiger wins.
