Hank has not played since missing the cut at the Players. Anyone know what he is up to? This year has been tough for him. Is he home working on his game?

I dont know, an 8 week layoff in mid-season to work on your game... where he is on the money list is going kill his chances at keeping his card for '07. Im sure it is something more than that, but a 73.86 scoring avg on the pga tour isnt going to get it done. hopefully we will see him back out there soon...

. . . . two fairways over? just kidding.
He's really dropped off. I thought he'd have a break through a couple of years ago, but his short game touch is still lacking and he's still pretty "wild"- direction and distance control wise.

Guess that's what happens when you sign with TopFlite. You get lost in the bushes until someone finds you.

I seem to recall hearing that he had an injury of some sort. He's only played in 9 events this year, making two cuts.
Money isn't an issue for Hank.

Then why did he sign with TopFlite? For their superior products?

Of course, he could have decided that he can make more money doing something other than playing pro-golf. Definitely worked for his brother.

There was a little blurb in the local paper this week quoting Tripp as saying that Hank had a back injury which has kept him out of play since March. Right now, no plans to play again until at least 2007.
