I was thinking about sports and superstitions and figured I'd ask if ya'll had any?
I don't really have any but I do keep my ball marker, my scotty repair tool and tees in left pocket. I always take a towel with me on the course to wipe sweat and ball off. I always start warming up on range with my 56 and then go up but after 56 not in any order.
Any of you guys/gals have some specific superstitions that you would love to share?

For me it's a red line halfway around the ball also one hawaii quarter (state where I live), 14 AJGA epoch tees, and a pitch mark repair tool from from Flintrock Falls CC all in the right pocket. Im really OCD when it comes to these things

in my pocket, i have one scotty cameron black pitchmark tool, from my first ever scotty, use that every round, use a university of michigan logo'd ball marker, and usually one or two zero friction lime green tees depending on if i break one during the round.

Can't carry my wallet with me. In my mind if its not put up safe somewhere, I may lose it or lose money on the golf course.

2 tees at a time, 2 ball markers and never a # higher than 3 on the golf ball.

No superstitions for me, just habits...
I always carry a couple of tees, ball repair tool, and some loose change in right pocket... Nothing in left as I'm right handed. I pick up any broken tees I see around the tee boxes while waiting to tee off because you just never know when you're going to need a tee and not be able to find one.

I vary between a 1959, 1961 & 1965 quarters for ball markers, but I only carry 2 in my pocket, the other stays in the bag. Never more than 5 tees, always white or tan. No #1 balls. Always mark it heads up, so George can take a look at the 'ole line.

I never use a #1 ball on the first tee. I have no idea where I got that...weird. Other than that, I'm good to go.

Not really superstitious but I have a thing about not going to the driving range before playing so I avoid it whenever possible. My best golf is played when I basically go straight from my car, to the locker room, to the first tee in 5 minutes or less. Even after sitting in a chair at work for 8 hours. Two or three practice swings and I'm ready to go. For some reason I never have first tee jitters if playing in this fashion (and often hit one of my best drives of the day off the first tee), but if I go to the driving range first, I'm destined to hit some monster slice, sky ball, etc.
I also must wear watch at all times while playing. The one time I forgot it, I shot a 104 on my home course at a time when I was a 6 hcp. I have gone so far as to keep wearing a non-functioning watch while playing until I could get it fixed or replace it.
Oh, and I can only use pennies for ball markers. Preferably old, dull looking ones.

I don't use white golf tees
I always carry a coin from 1976 in my pocket. I don't mark my ball with it though I just have to have it in my right front pocket.

I carry a ball mark repair tool that a friend of mine made for me, my current chip as a ball mark, and no more than 4 tees in my front right pocket. There can't be anything else in any of my pockets or it will drive me nuts.

#5 Titleist ProV1 (or x) at all times.
Hat (if i'm wearing one) must match my belt which also must match my shoes at all times when playing at least.
I play with my glove unstrapped (i dunno why)

I wear a hat all the time, come rain or shine.
I always take my glove off for wedge shots and putting (cannot hit these clubs with a glove on).
Always keep a pitch mark repair tool in my left pocket.
Last but not least i always tee up my ball with the name/logo facing up so i can read it (maybe it secretly helps me line up the shot?)

Always use a qaurter from the year 1979 to mark my ball. My goal is to always break 80 and I guess the 79 helps to keep that in mind. Pitchmark tool from my home course. White shoes with white cap, black shoes with black cap. White tees only and Titleist balls. I have other corky habits like glove off for putting but that's more for feel, and I draw a line down the center of the ball, but that's more for alignment and marking.

I never walk between the tee markers, I always walk around them. Don't ask me why, I picked it up in high school and it has stuck ever since. I think it comes from my baseball days when I would never step on the foul line.

No real superstitions, however I do prefer to only use white wooden tees... I just feel comfortable with them, like wearing your favorite jeans or drinking your favorite beer it just works for me

i never hit driver off the first tee of a tournament. i just get too nervous to take the driver out and hit one out of play. i usually play a 3 wood or 3 iron. after that, it's pretty much all drivers throughout the rest of the round.

Not exactly superstition but I always use a "lucky" tee I found about a year ago. I still remember that day when I couldn't hit any fairway with my driver or 3 wood. On the 12th hole, I forgot my tee and found this white plasticky tee (doesn't seem to break) covered with mud. Used it on that hole and drive it down the middle. Had a fantastic finish on that day so I kept it.
Since then, I've been using it and my driving has been tremendously great. Not sure what's in it but mentally, I know I can hit a perfect drive because of that tee. i'm not even washing it, still look ugly but couldn't care less.

From Merriam-Webster:
"Superstition - 1 a : a belief or practice resulting from ignorance, fear of the unknown, trust in magic or chance, or a false conception of causation"
In my case, I carry my divot tool/ball mark in my left pocket purely because I always know where it is. No fumbling around when you need it quickly and if it's not there then I know I've left it someplace.
Now if we're talking about the "lucky" Euro I found on the street in London and the un-broken tee I've had since I was 16, then those are different stories.

No superstitions here just habits. Keep two quarters and divot repair tool in my left front pocket. I use one of the quarters to mark the ball but always carry two in case I loose one.

My two bigs ones are, to never walk into a tee box from in front of the markers, always from behind and most of the time I mark with a old quarter, always heads up with the head facing the hole.
