Well didn't get away for a vacation this year so me and 3 buddies are going to load up and go down to the ozarks for a few rounds of golf. We will probably be staying in a hotel unless we can get a good stay and play package. Just looking for some inexpensive course to play. It is the off season now so something in the sub $40 range would be great. I looked at the 4 seasons resort and can get one night and two rounds for $125 per person. Just looking for some ideas. Thanks

I love playing at Old Kinderhook which is in Camdenton. There's a member here named the_krulatz that might be able to help you out with that course.
If you don't mind driving about a hour southwest from Lake of Ozarks, there's a course that you might like playing on, Silo Ridge CC in Bolivar. In my "baised" opinion, one of the better valued course to play on and it could be easier to drive back home from that town.
PM me if you need more info.
Osage National is 27 holes and a nice layout - off season rate is reasonable. If you have a hook up at Porta Cima then don't miss out on that chance....place literally could have 18 signature holes...

Plans changed now and it looks like we are going to be heading to Kansas City area. Looks like we are going to play Adams Pointe and Stone Canyon. Found some deals online and will probably do a whole weekend for under $100.

Colbert Hills in Manhattan, KS is well worth the 1.5 hour drive West. Right now they have a coupon and its only $30 if you tee off before 10AM or something like that. I've played $200 courses that weren't as nice.
