Couldn't find anything more than passing comments about Innisbrook in other threads, but no threads about it specifically, so thought I would ask some questions.
It seems like the courses themselves are worth playing. Are they all on site, ie: don't have to drive to them, or are they a little spread out?
How is the value for the price? I understand it's not the cheapest place around, but are you paying for a name, or do you really get value?
How are the accommodations? Are there things for my wife to do, since she doesn't play golf?
I'm not sure when we may go, but I'm kicking around a few different places, and this is one that sems to have a little less info on here than others.

If you plan on staying at the resort the price to value is great. If I am not mistaken, you get a double occupancy room, breakfast or lunch and a round of golf each day for the same price a non guest would have to pay to play one of their courses. All of the courses are on site with transportation available to each course, it is a large campus! The Copper Head and Island courses are right across the street from each other. The restaurants are pricey, but the food is above average. I recommend you eat at the beach a few nights and eat some delicious seafood. If you want a list of great courses to play in the area shot me an IM and I will be happy to name off my favs!

I spent a night there and played a couple of months ago. My girlfriend and I LOVED it. Great value. Very peaceful and serene. The rooms are nice, the service is great, and the golf is awesome. Once you're there, you don't need to leave the resort, and it feels like you are escaping the outside world. I highly recommend it.

Copperhead and Island are some of the best courses in the area and they will give you all that you can handle. You could drive to World Woods in about 45 min. and play 36 holes.
There are a bunch of restaurants and bars around Innisbrook. I would suggest taking a drive(20 min) to Clearwater Beach and either go to Rockaway or Island Grill.
I have lived here my whole life, so feel free to ask any questions on the area.

As a previous poster recommended, worlds woods is worth the drive! I also recommend that you play Fox Hollow, Plantation Palms, The Eagles and TPC Tampa Bay. All of these courses are tough and enjoyable. If you are looking to play a decent local course, that is not too far from the resort, I recommmend Lansbrook. There are some great courses on the way to World Woods that I would recommend as well; Hernando Oaks, Souther Hills, Silverthorn and Brooksville Country Club. I am not too familair with the courses in the Southern part of the area, as I live in the Northern part of Tampa Bay and I have pleanty of courses to choose from here!!!
