I was wondering if anyone is wearing the Nike Air Zoom Vapor shoes and what they think about them. They seem nice and light but Im wondering how they hold up. The white and black ones look pretty good and they seem great for walkers. Now that they are on sale Im thinking about a pair but couldnt find much feedback on them.

I was told by the guy at Golfsmith that he sees alot of people come back with their Nikes because the air pockets deflated in them. The Nike golf shoes dont fit my feet anyways, but I would personally be weary of them because of the air pockets. Even though I've never owned their golf shoes, I can say that in my experience, their regular shoes with the air pockets have always deflated on me in every pair I have owned (I used to wear nothing but Nike shoes).

My friend and I bought three pairs of Nikes each last yr at a golf show. (White,Black, and Brown pairs). All 3 pairs of his had the air bladders deflate in them. My white pair also had the bladder deflate. The model was not the Vapor but I would be concerned about them doing the same thing.

They should be under warranty if they are less than 2 years old. All of the 2010 shoes do not have exposed air bladders. All self contained.

I love nike golf shoes but I will probably never buy another pair again due to the air pocket issues everyone else is describing. I have went through 3 pairs in two seasons which is pretty ridiculous because the shoes are still in good shape but I can't stand listening to my shoes whistling air out every time I take a step. I used to wear only nike shoes in general but recently went to adidas running shoes and will probably stick with adidas with golf shoes as well.

Nike is cutting edge technology with piss poor quality construction. I've had that experience wit them for about 25 years.

I buy them from time to time on account of design and looks knowing it will be a short life with the shoe.

I am not sure why they wouldn't warranty his. His blew out last yr. I didn't even wear mine till this yr. I wore my white pair around 13 rounds riding and the one bladder blew out. I asked him after mine blew out if he tried to warranty his and he said good luck. He said after each pair went out he contacted Nike and they gave him a different reason with each pair why they wouldn't warranty them. Since I didn't try to warranty mine myself I am not gonna debate their warranty procedures. I do feel any pair should last more then 13 rounds. My other two pairs of Nikes are older and I have been wearing them for over three yrs and the bladders are still good in them. That is why I picked up the newer models on clearence. I expected them to last as long as my older pairs. Maybe something was wrong with the stock we bought from. They were on clearence half price. We just thought they were clearing out the old models.

As I stated, all of the new product does not have the caged zoom air bladder. It is enclosed within the shoe. Some really killer designs this year as well.

I have around 6 pair of nike spikes. never had a problem with the air bladders. if there is a problem with the air bladder...nike will replace them. unless you cut them of course. their rate of return is 3-4%. and of that 3-4%, 90% is from people cutting them with something or popping them with something.

as far as for the vapors....great shoe. most comfortable shoe I have ever put on out of the box.
