Now that's bad.

Fortunately the golf vandalism in my area tends to be tame in comparison. Every few years there's a story about punk kids stealing carts in the middle of the night and driving them across greens, through bunkers, then leaving them half-submerged in a pond.

This is makes me upset. I feel bad for the grounds keepers and the players there.
I say don't put in the papers. It makes them feel like they accomplished something.

We are different, but we all know here that this one was not done by a WRX'ers!!!

Had to deal with this at my course (used to work at a premium course almost 10 years ago). Most likely kids just wanting to write something that will get attention. Sad for the course.

Pretty bad when you consider the message behind it. Worst I've seen in my area was someone (or a group) who sprayed some type of grass killer on a bunch of greens at Bent Tree Golf Course (Council Bluffs, IA). Ruined the greens and some fairways for nearly a season...felt bad for the course...who wants to play on substandard surfaces.
