has anyone ordered a pair of FJ Icons from MyJoys? I am dying to see some pictures of pairs that people have created and im sure others are curious as well. if you've ordered a pair and got them already, post some pictures!

I have not ordered any yet but I have messed around with different shoe types and color combinations. This could get very expensive!

I am going to pull the trigger on some NCAA Icon MyJoys soon. I will post some pics.

im trying to work up the courage to pull the trigger on two pairs... but i am unsure how they will look and wanted to see if anyone else has ordered yet to see materials/idea/etc.

So no one has pulled the trigger on some MyJoys Icon's yet? I keep thinking someone will post some but haven't seen any yet. I know GolfWRX is a small market segment, but are these shoes not doing well? Or, is it that people just don't take pics of their shoes?

Mine are coming.. Probably get them first or second week in November.. Can't wait to see how they turn out!

Ill buy a custom set when I go to the local golf store and get the sizing correct!

Having the ability to design your very own shoe is pretty freakin' cool though!

I totally agree with you, when i heard they were going i scrambled to get another pair. Thankfully i got them and they are waiting for me at home ahh.
I was excited initally at the Icons but they just don't stand up to classics imo.
It is cool but the I just can't get to like the outsole on the icons. Imagine myjoy dry premieres, sadly all we can do is imagine.

They should revisit older shoe shapes. If they did that mixed with todays technology
with shoe performance, I think they'd surely have winners

those look great. i do have one recommendation for the website. would it be possible to have a more realistic representation of the materials and the finished product? for instance, actual pictures? i know you cant have pics of each custom designed shoe, but i would like to see pics of the materials and other customers custom designed finished icons. for example, i am interested in the asymetrical shoe with white base and patent white leather, but the website just doesnt do it justice. same thing with the white wingtips with white patent leather. i just want to see more examples with real pictures before i spend $270. thanks

Unfortunately, this is one of the limitations of the web. It's very difficult to accurately show prints such as lizard/gator/croc and especially patent leather on a computer screen. We've done our best to give you a realistic representation by using actual photos of the leather that's used but, as you've seen, sometimes it's still pretty limiting. My suggestion would be to call FJ customer service (1-800-596-1003) and ask them to send you a swatch of the leather print you're interested in.

As luck would have it, I actually just received pairs of the shoes you're asking about. We created the white/white patent shield tips for Charley Hoffman and the white/white large croc for Kevin Streelman so I can show you images of the actual shoes. I hope this helps.

those look really good, but those pictures are a perfect example of what i am talking about. in the pics the white large croc has a glossy finish, almost looks like patent, where on the website it looks like a matte finish. either way they still look good. thanks for the patent leather pics, that is a huge help.

Mine came in today I'll save the pics till I write the review on them. I'm playing Saturday morning so I'll have pics and a review up shortly there after. I will say this.. turnaround time is fast and the finished product.. looks GREAT.

When did you order them? I ordered a pair of MyJoys and stock shoes the night it went live, so just curious on turn around time.

I do own a pair of asymmetrical pattern with the white croc and it DOES have a glossy finish, not a matte finish.
