Hey guys... I broke down, sold and old set of irons and built a new set...NEW PICS!!!! .... Setup is pretty simple, my lofts are all spaced to where I only need 12 clubs.

I like this idea. Please tell me more. Do the irons have a greater spacing than the typical 4 degrees? Was that done as a custom?
I like to walk and carry and considering all options to lighten my load.

Is there anyway you could remove the badges from the irons? That would give them a nice clean look.

I could take a heat gun to them and pry them out.....I've thought about doin that

I've been thinking about removing the badges from my Mizuno MX-19s. If you decide to do it let me know how it goes.

The biggest gap that I have is between the sand wedge and pitching wedge so a gap wedge could eventually end up in the bag... I have no need for a lob wedge because, well I guess you would say I am old school in that sense....I wouldn't mind if they outlawed clubs with lofts over 58* to be honest...they do more harm to people's games than good. My lofts and distances are as follows....
3 wood 16* 245
3 hy 20* 220
4 hy 23* 205
5 I 27* 190
6 I 31* 175
7 I 35* 165
8 I 39* 150
9 I 43* 135
PW 47* 125
SW 56* 95

I completely agree about clubs over 58 hurting more than helping. It seems like people generally leave shots around the green well short of the hole.
You can easily take a heat gun to those badges too, they should come right off

took off the badges and didn't like what I saw was underneath.... apparantly before they sandblasted the cavity, they put the tape on that attaches the badge..... so now there is a dark grey rectangle in the middle of every cavity.... not very clean looking... I might go to the hardware store and get some of that new textured enamel and fill in the cavities to get rid of the ugly marks

Not a big deal... I might just throw a little lead tape on the back anyway...they are a little light
