October 17th 2009
GolfWRX Tennessee outing at Lookout Mountain Golf Club near Chattanooga.
$92 per person includes cart, golf and range balls.
Scratch Golf will be setting up before the event and doing a demo day for everyone. Come try out our wedges, irons and putters and get fit in person for anything you want.
I have to check with the club but I am thinking Scratch Golf Shop Tour at 9:00, Demo Day starting at 10:00 and tee times starting at 12:00.
Please respond in this thread if you are going to attend for sure. I need to get final numbers for the club so I can make sure they are ready for us.
I look forward to meeting all of you guys!

What is the weather looking like this weekend, are we going to get six inches of rain. Also if there is a number of people who are going to come in the night before, is there somewhere that people can meet up and maybe do something the night before. If we are going to get rained out, at least we can still party.

Weather looks a little sketchy in the past 12 hrs I've seen Sat going from 61 and partly sunny to 54 and rain and back and forth between the two. All the heavy rain is on Wdnsday but everything is soaked here it's been raining since the beginning of September. If we play its going to be soggy.

The up side is that I will be riding Dirt Bikes and ATV's with 1,000 other riders at Loretta Lynn's Ranch this weekend!!!
The rain will make the trails perfect!

I would really like the Scratch tour, hit the Scratch equipment, and then play. What time and where should we meet up? This is a great idea and thanks in advance for all the effort to put this event together!

Ari,
I wish that I could make it back up there again, but I have to work. For everyone looking to "kick it" the night before or after I suggest heading downtown to "Big River Grille and Brewing Works." They have some great food and fantastic house brews. A very nice "kick it" spot.

Is this event still going on? If we just want to tour the shop and participate in the demo is that fine as well?

Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow!
We are planning to meet at the shop at 9:00.
It is supposed to be dry tomorrow no rain but around 51* or so. The course drains well so it will be more than playable despite all the rain lately.
If anyone has any questions or issues feel free to email me directly at ari_techner@scratchgolf.com
