i have a pair of foot joy black rain gloves that are about 5 years old. i used them today in a monsoon and everything i touched...clothes,hands,jacket had black all over! has anyone else come across this? i was wondering if the newer versions do this and is there any other brands that are better to use and do not bleed all over everything? thanks......

I have never had that problem with the FJ Rain Gloves --- just wore them Thursday.

At 5 years old, I'm guessing dry rot or mold or the like. You might try a new pair.

I made the switch to FJ rain gloves this summer and will never go back to any other glove, rain or shine.

At 5 years old there's no way of knowing what was going to happen when you put them on and got them wet, I'm sorry to say. They are synthetic material so they probably broke down over time.

Try a new pair and I'm sure you will not have the same problem.

Gross, definitely mold. Its easy to forget that if you toss the rain glove back in the bag after you use them they're going to get pretty nasty

On a side note, does anyone know if it's possible to get these gloves as singles? I want to play these gloves exclusively but have no need for two gloves every time I need a lefty (I might play both gloves if it's really raining, but 99% of the time I'll wear the left hand).

If I could buy them as a single glove I'd order 50 of 'em!

anyone ever try the zero restriction leather rain gloves?

I've never seen FJ single rain gloves. Mizuno sells their as singles and they are very comparable to the FJ rain gloves.
