I was thinking about getting either the Troon and/or OB card for 2010. Is there any reason you would choose one over the other? I plan on playing at Troon North and We Ko Pa over the season. I noticed that Troon only has a national 2'some card now for $500.

To be honest, neither. There are better deals just online. You really have to play a lot to make the value worth the price.

But if you do want the card still, the Troon one is better...especially if it includes Anthem.

Troon Courses are much better than OB: Southern Dunes, Ocotillo, Whilrwind, Kierland, Troon North, Anthem and Quintero if included, Talking Stick, Poston Butte.

Can't beat that line up.

What is the break even on that?

How much is a round at Troon N. in high season with the Troon card?

w/card it's $95 until Jan 28..........$150 jan 29-apr 4. Also, you can replay the same day for $10 with the Troon Card. The OB sports card is less money at $99.

Reg. rate at Troon is between $220 or $240 up to the end of 2009. Likely higher greens fee in early 2010.

And are there usually specials during prime season?

Unless you are talking about something different, there is a huge difference in price if I'm not mistaken.

Example, a We Ko Pass can be had for $99 until the end of October if I recall the email. That gets you a certain rate at We Ko Pa, and cardholder rates at Eagle Mountain, Longbow, the Duke etc. And all your guests get the same rate as you as well.

Troon may have more courses, etc., but the card is much more expensive. And then you are still paying those rates.

Make sure to do the math.
