I have a Izzo "left hand" carry stand bag that is in desperate need of a new pair of shoes.

The rubber end caps of the fiberglass legs are worn out (actually one is now missing).

I temporarily replaced them with plastic plugs (the only thing I could match-up that would work) that I picked up at Lowe's but they are not working out very well. The bag wants to slide if I set it on a hard surface.

I emailed Izzo and here is there response:
Thank you for your email. However we don't have replacement parts left for these bags. You may be able to find a rubber foot at a hardware store perhaps.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

What I really need are end-caps that are rubber in nature and fit snugly. I'm guessing the size should be 3/8" or 7/16" to fit over the end.
Thanks, any suggestions will be helpful.

Hi - my local Lowes-like place has rubber caps that I have used before - usually in the loose hardware section - they are much better that the plastic version.

You can probably find PlastiDip at Lowes.

It won't come off. I'm not exactly sure how long it will last as far as abrasion but you can keep dipping them. If you get a good thick coating to start with it should last pretty good. The slower you pull the can down off the legs the more will stay on and you can do as many layers as you want. It doesn't keep long once the can is opened though so drop some clean rocks in the used can to take up most of the air space left when you put the top back on.

Actually, I went through everything Lowe's had to offer and nothing else would work. I even had two sales reps help me search through the bins and yet all we could find are what I mentioned above.

Today, on my way to a tournament, I drove by an old Mon and Pop hardware store that is well known for having just about anything you need but didn't have time to stop. I think I'll try there next week when I have time to run back that way.

I haven't tried Home depot yet. That will be one of my stops.

Now this looks promising. I'll have to look for it next time I'm out.

This is exactly what I set out to find. Though I need something a little smaller than 1/2". If I'm unable to find some that fit tight and the smallest is 1/2" then I may try to build up the end of the leg with double sided grip tape and try to install that way.

Thanks for the find.
