For the longest time, this was an exclusive private course located just west of the public Suncadia Prospector golf course.

Apparently, times are tough and this is now open to golfers who are a member of another private golf course. If you wish to play this very nice course, just have the pro at your local private course call Tumble Creek's pro shop and have them make a tee time for you.

Price for a round is $141 which includes cart fee.

I've chatted with a few of my buddies who played this course and say it's absolutely amazing. They said that the tee boxes were like putting greens and the fairways were just a shade longer than the greens.

Can't wait to play this soon. They are aerating their greens on Oct 5th and 6th just in case you're planning on heading out there on those days.

I had the chance to play there last June and really enjoyed my first Tom Doak golf course. The course at the time was a member only course and you first had to buy a lot around the course which was a $500k minimum. Doak used great use of the land which is very flat except for a few holes and created a well routed course that has a nice mix of holes in amongst the trees and in the open. The conditioning of the course was exceptional considering the greens budget was $500k for the year.

I can understand how the course is in a bit a trouble. It's a second home course for a small market (Washington State) that has no food and beverage so the only way they were making money was dues and a little bit of green fee revenue. Someone on the greens crew mentioned that they maybe see 20 golfers a day so the course doesn't see much action.

On that same trip I played Chambers, Seattle GC and Aldarra. Tumble was my favorite followed by Aldarra, Seattle and Chambers. Play this gem if you can!!!!!!!!
