I've noticed that even though I have a bunch of polos, shirts, jackets, slacks etc for golf I only use them when I go out to play. I typically do not wear my golf gear for anything but to play.

Anyone else do the same thing? Does anyone use their golf clothing for things other than golf?

Just curious.....

i have around 100 Nike TW shirts. those are pretty much all i wear to the office.

Weird question.

All my gof equipment is just that, "golf equipment". From my Flak Jackets to my Tour 360 3.0's.....course and practice only. Golf gear costs too much these days to just wear it around all the time.

I wear pretty much all of my golf shirts to the office, except for the ones with really loud colors/designs. Also, there are a few that are a little more worn/faded/stained than the others, so they are reserved for golf use only.

In fall and spring I will usually play golf after work in the same pants I wore to work that day.

Geez, that's a lot of Nike shirts. I don't even own 30 golf shirts of all brands combined. And I play 100+ rounds a year. Each year I usually get around 5 new ones and retire 5 old ones.

I probably own over 100 golf shirts (mostly Adidas), and I would not wear them to the office. I think most golf shirts are too casual for "business casual" (especially the dry fit type).

I usually wear polos anytime I'm not at work or at home. At work I have to wear a dress shirt and tie. At home its usually just a t-shirt and basketball shorts because I'm usually working on something around the house.

I wear my golf clothes all the time. I have a couple of pairs of pants that the lower half of the legs comes off, and those are my golf shorts. I wear the pants to work on days I know I'm going to play after work so that I dont have to change. I wear polo shirts every day to work, so there is no reason to have shirts specially set aside for golf. The only thing I dont wear is my golf shoes, or my hat. Spiked footjoys and a titleist bucket hat are not conducive to looking ready to work.

Ive got a bunch of Mizuno mock polos (no collar) and wear those only for golf but my other polos, khakis pants and my plaid shorts work just fine for when I want to dress up a little bit.

I find that the clothes that I consider stylish for golfing are pretty boring for every day wear. As a result, I rarely wear my golf clothes any other time than for golfing.

I keep my golf shirts just for golf. The jumpers and trousers I wear on the course aren't golf clothing so I wear those off the course from time to time.

lol....more like do I wear my regular clothes on the golf course.... I own 3 name brand golf shirts (object 59) ... most of my "golf shirts" are slim fit polos from JCPenney because golf shirts (imo) still fit like big ol' baggy Ashworth shirts from the 90's....
rony
I wear my Golf Shirts both on and off the course.................Both of them. cheesy.gif

I wear what ever I wore into the office that day to the golf course unless I wore jeans
I am baffled by some of these responses, is there a golf uniform nobody informed me of?

Yeah those Ashworth shirts were, literally, huge. I usually wear a size medium in Ralph Lauren polo shirts or most other shirts, but even in a size small, I was drowning in fabric with the Ashworth shirts. A couple more inches in the sleeve and the short sleeve shirts would fit me like long sleeves. Even the current Cutter & Buck or Adidas shirts are huge for the sizes. I know a couple of slim guys like myself who can't even wear the smalls, they are just too big. So they buy non-golf brand polo shirts. I guess their target demographic is the 50 year old golfer with a huge beer gut who wears his pants below it.

Wear my Tommy Bahama on and of the course, best of both worlds!

aside from shoes.. I look like I'm ready to golf on all work days...that way they never know what day I actually will. cool.gif

wow I can't believe some of you have over 100 golf shirts. Do you get them for free or something?
I have about 30 (mostly Nike and Adidas) and I feel like I have too many already. Most of my shirts have unique or interesting designs, so they are not suited for office. Only recently I got a few boring Adidas stripes that I can wear for office. Then I retired all non DryFit or ClimaCool polos to office duty only.

^^ +2. I'm a Quicksilver/ Volcom kind of guy.

GOLF: I like Adidas, Golden Bear, PGA Tour, and Grand Slam shirts.
