Just looking at my lovely golf bag, and it looks like a ragbag explosion.
#1 - Wilson Spine white top/black side zip on cover
#2 - MacGregor MT 3W with a Black Top/Red Side slip on cover
3 and 4h - Nickent Hybrids with Black top/Vomit Green side covers
5-SW - Black neoprene booties
Putter - Metallic royal blue with Metallic gold accent OEM Mizuno Bettinardi headcover
All in a Daytrek 14-divider royal blue/silver/black stand bag.
Anyone else facing the same issue? I'm torn between getting matching covers, or joining a metrosexual society. Problem is that I'm not a brand slave - my brand slave buddies with their TM Bag/headcovers/towel/ballmarker/boxer shorts look so much more snappy than I.
Problem is I hate bag marks on my clubs, especially on my irons with their glossy and sexy carbon fiber caps.
Guess I'm not really looking for opinion - just others to make fun of me, or possibly offer a super suggestion. Yet, if I match, how do I advertise all the great brands I play?
Boy, even I wouldn't know how to respond to this topic!

I'd just get rocket tour headcovers for your driver, 3 wood and hybrids all in royal blue and black (or gold or white or silver) to match your Betti headcover and your bag.
Problem solved!

Don't worry what your bag looks like just worry how it performs.

You have crystallized my exact thoughts.
My bag is a hodgepodge of weapons designed to take money from the "everything looks great" set. When I get to the course, I remove every headcover but the driver. Clubs don't need cozies.
YMMV

I'm not a brand guy either. But I faced something similar. My bag and driver headcover are red, black and silver. My 3w & 5w headcovers were black, blue and silver. My hybrid green, black and silver. My SC putter headcover was red and silver.
So the blue stuck out REALLY bad, the green not too much because its not a lot of green, and the SC HC looked ok.
My wife got me the Sergio bull headcover for the 3w (i love redbull) and its all black. I bought the new Ping Contour fairway HC for my 5w which is all black. Bought the SC Cameron Club HC which is red, black and silver.
Problems solved. I still may get the Ping Contour hybrid cover. But for $25 bucks, don't know if its worth it because I might be switching it out.
There are tons of options out there. You can even look at headcover offerings from the OEM.

I agree with the performance comment and hey, let's face it, if I wasn't concerned about the performance, I'd likely buy all the same brand, yes? However, I tend to buy clubs that work well for me vs. those that look good in my bag or impress others. This is why I have 6 brands in 14 clubs.
Thanks for the Rocket Tour Ideas guys, but if I spend US $120 on headcovers, I will be found dead on a back road, with my wife's footprints all around me, with the headcovers used as the murder weapon.
It's not that I want people to like my bag - in fact a garish bag almost screams "Come see what I got!". That Bettinardi cover alone oozes MC Hammer.
However, it really has a jarring asthetic, especially with the introduction of the MacGregor cover. RandomHero, maybe you hit on it with only swapping one or two out.
But no, I almost feel I have to leave the iron covers on, as the backs of the clubs look so nice, plus everything is graphite shafted. Although it is inconvenient, no scratched or damaged shafts, and the heads look great.
And no, I have no pictures yet as I am away from home on business. I'll see if I can get one posted - maybe we can start a "jarring/ugly" thread.

I use headcovers on all my clubs and hopefully they match somewhat with my bag. The biggest reason I do it is to protect the clubs...especially the irons (forged) and driver, plus we all invest alot of money in our clubs - why not try and get as much life/use out of them as possible. I hate seeing someone with a really nice set of irons (especially blades) that look like they were run over with a tank. More than once I've had my bag fall off the back of a golf cart because the straps/locks are worn. I guess my main thought is protect your investment.

Get yourself some titleist woods headcovers (not 909)
and turn them inside out, they all have different colors and look sweet
