I'll be in Vegas for work next week. Unfortunately the Wynn course starts overseeding on Monday and will be closed so I'll only get to play it once on Sunday. Where else should I play? I won't have a car.

go to revere, lexington course if you want a great course with some of the best golf holes and views in vegas. there are many nice courses there that are closer, if thats what you want just ask at the desk. i go to vegas at least once a year, many yrs. spring and fall, i like to see something different when i go play golf in other areas, about anywhere will have nice courses. if youve never been to callaway golf center by the airport its kinda fun to check out.
you will at least need a cab, so much to do and see!!!!!!

Too bad you don't have a car, could drive to Wolf Creek. I want to play that place so bad....

I played Bali Hai and Royal Links. Both were great.

Just out of curiousity, BOTH courses are overseeding during September. Must be something that has to be done in September.

We played Silverstone when we went. It was a 20 minute or so cab ride from the Paris. I thought it was a great course.

A lot of the courses are closed for overseeding this week and next, I would call a head to see what is availible. A good source is www.golfnow.com/lasvegas. They will know what is availible for play and what is not and what is in good shape.

Thanks guys. Of course my trip would be scheduled during overseeding.

I might try Bali Hai since some of y'all recommended it.

Hands down you can't go wrong with Rhode's Ranch or the Badlands.

Those are two great courses that aren't sitting up in the mountains like Paiute does. At the Badlands...you better make sure you are down the middle...great challenge and fair.

Played there the day before Bali Hai and was definitely impressed. Only about a 15-20 min. cab ride from the strip, I think.

TPC Canyons, Dragonridge or the Primm Valley courses. Vegas golf is much the like the city, high priced and all glamor with little substance.
